IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT ~
As some of you know that Equine 808 Horse Rescue has dissolved.
What does this mean?
It means a new beginning! A better, smarter, more organized effort to bring awareness to Hawaii on horse neglect, abused and unwanted horses.
An outreach program to bring like minded people TOGETHER in promoting positive change for these horses. Working TOGETHER for solutions and to help as many horses....and people....as possible.
Will I still be helping horses in Hawaii? YES.
I am now operating a rescue in Colorado called Next Step Horse Rescue.
A unique approach to both shedding more light on this issue in Hawaii AND bettering the lives of horses by placing them in wonderful homes after being rehabilitated and sent on to new careers( Or as pasture babes if that proverbial shoe fits ;) )
We will be working WITH the Hawaiian Humane Society to develop an equine rescue program hopefully with their organization. The HHS is going through some changes themselves but as soon as they get a handle on the changes they are making, we will make this happen. This was always my goal and its finally going to happen!
I have learned so very much....and plan to use that to be better.
Do better.
Do more.....
For them.
I thank each and every person who has supported these efforts in the past. My hat is tipped in your direction, and my sincerest gratitude as well.
Change is scary.............But it can be so incredibly wonderful.
It is now , quite literally....
My business to help horses in Hawaii!
