Perfectly said.
Easter⦠from a horses perspective.
Sometimes, people consider great events only through the eyes of humans. So, I thought I would share a new perspective.
Jesus is not only the Savior of mankind; He is the creator of all things. Wthout Him, nothing would be created. Jesus loves all His creations, and we in the animal kingdom also recognize the King of all creation. After all, the King of Kings chose to start His mortal life in a stable surrounded by His animals. I think that while we animals exist in a lesser kingdom, we are more obedient.
Jesus entered the city of Jerusalem mounted on a cousin of mine, an unridden donkey. When cleansing the temple, Jesus overturned the money tables but acted gently with the sacrificial animals. Jesus bore the sins and wrongs of all creation, and after suffering death, He might free the captive spirits of all men. It is a tradition among us animals that we too are redeemed and saved through the blood of Christ. We too rejoice and express our grand Amen and live in rejoicing when we are able to live up to and embody the measure of our full creation. When Jesus came in peace, He rode a good donkey; when He comes to cleanse and claim this earth again, He will be on a horse.
So, we can all rejoice on this beautiful Easter Day and look forward to a future return of power and glory.
Happy Easter,
