It was a LONG week but we couldn’t be prouder of our second year participating in the Western Idaho Fair! We took 5 bunnies this year, and had a wonderful time. So happy we have come so far the last several years and it’s finally starting to show! *no pun intended* 😜
Tw***ie-1st place in junior does broken pattern class
Maple-1st place in junior does solid class
Payette-1st place in senior does solid class
Chip-1st place in senior broken bucks class and also best of variety

Update: Hershey has found a home!

We have a bit of an unfamiliar territory situation over here! We have a past bun of ours back that is looking for a new home! I am helping our good friends (and Hersheys family) with this task! She is here with us in the meantime! Unfortunately Hersheys sweet 9 year old is allergic to her, and although they have managed for the last several months, it is in both of their interests to find the PERFECT, and approved only home for her, because it is breaking their hearts. If you might be interested, please send me a message or a text. She will come with all her things. A little bit about Hershey:

🩷She is a spoiled little love that has also hit her naughty teenage phase and doesn’t love getting picked up, but once she’s up she doesn’t fight it and actually loves the attention.
🩷She has had the tendency lately before coming back here to show signs of some territorial behavior with her cage, although we haven’t seen it yet in the several days she’s been here.
🩷Because of this I would recommend a larger area for her rather than just a single confined cage. That’s what she’s been in for the last week, with her open cage inside that so she has the option, and she seems to prefer not being confined or her little bubble being invaded!
🩷Another great option would be to spay her and settle those lady hormones down. That will likely improve or solve any issues all together!
🩷She is the easiest keeper and completely litter box trained! She LOVES snacks and anyone feeding them to her. Rough forehead rubs are her jam.
🩷We would recommend Hershey to an experienced bunny family or breeder. She is small and would be a great momma I have a feeling. The brightest blue eyes and personality for days.
🩷My 10 year old has had the sweetest bond with her since she was an itty bitty baby here, so in her mind there is no rush to have her gone unless we find the perfect home. If we weren’t short on cage space right now we would 100% be keeping her back. In the meantime we are loving the extra time with her and want to help her family!

This only happens once every few years so listen up! Normally it’s not till later this summer, but we love supporting other rabbitrys and students/kids! We are going to do a sale on a few of our buns that would be a PERFECT opportunities for new (or established) barns or that 4-H kiddo looking for a show or project prospect! I am going to post a few of them here that we would be willing to let go to the right placement and all you need to do is pm or text me for more info and prices! These are all young and perfectly healthy bunnies! We have new ones coming and are planning to keep a few upcoming babies so it helps us out too to open up a few cages!

This beautiful girl of ours is looking for a new barn! We rarely let our proven stock go, so this was a tough decision. She has had two litters for us of 7 and 5 and was an amazing mom right off the bat which is so rare! She would be a great addition to a program or someone just starting out! Great type too!

Sneak peak of the new playpen we got done building today for the buns underneath one of our cage tables!! They will rotate through a half a day or so each in here to play and get exercise! We’ve had a couple out already and they LOVE IT! Will share more features soon!
