CROOKED S S08 AMAYA

Here is one of our 2026 home raised doelings that we are very hopefully of. She had her first bath a couple days ago and was NOT a fan. 😂

She is super green right now. I can't wait to see how she looks in 30-60 days of being on show feed!

She has the pedigree behind her and the conformation to hopefully do well in the show ring this year. She is going to be one of the junior does that we haul this year.

We got the show goats out today to wash everyone and start working hair for the upcoming shows.

I am still blown away by how nice BSMF GOLDEN BOY is. This guy is not obese fat or super fluffy, he is just naturally massive. Take a look at how big his legs are compared to a normal sized Weaver Pro Pink can... He doesn't look like he has huge bone in a profile picture due to how big he is everwhere, but I don't think I have seen or owned a buck with this much raw size since we owned RRD AMERICAN DREAM back in 2012... and Golden Boy still doesn't even have his yearling teeth all the way grown in.

He really doesn't have a bad angle. 🤷‍♀️

We are thrilled to announce the addition of POST ROCK JUDGECAUGHTMESPEEDIN *ENNOBLED* and POST ROCK CARBON COPY to our program.

Carbon Copy is a flush mate sibling to our successful POST ROCK CASINO, who excelled in 2025 by winning the 24-36 class consistently and claiming multiple division and overall Grand and Reserve championships.

Judge is the dam of both these exceptional females. Our strategy is to build our program around this outstanding female family.

They embody everything a Boer doe should be, in my humble opinion.

If anyone is in need of some really nice lean-to buildings, I have found the man for the job!

He can make them completely customized. They are all metal construction. Super heavy made so they won blow away. Built on skids so they are easy to move.

This one is 12' long x 8' deep. It's 7'6" at the front and slopes to 6'6". Tall enough for horses also!

He can add plywood kick walls if wanted. He can literally customize them to be exactly what you need and the price is nearly impossible to beat!

He can also deliver them just about anywhere you need for a delivery fee!

Here is a quick phone picture of BLOOMING ROSE RENEWED FAITH who we also bought Sunday at the Missouri Spring Invitational Sale from 2R Boer Goats.

We were absolutely blown away by how youthful looking and structurely sound she is for a 4 year old doe.

She is currently heavy bred to Dbl-D 100 PROOF *EN for May kids. She will be on the trailer with us this year as a senior doe.

We are also working on getting a flush scheduled for her to BSMF GOLDEN BOY!! We are working hard on taking our program to the top level and we think this cross will help make that happen!

We made a trip to the Missouri Spring Invitational Sale in Sedalia MO yesterday and came home with some SUPER nice goats...

We made a trip to the Missouri Spring Invitational Sale in Sedalia MO yesterday and came home with some SUPER nice goats.

With that being said, we are thrilled to announce that BSMF GOLDEN BOY now resides at CROOKED S FARMS! He is a twin sibling to the high selling lot 32 doe that sold for $12,250 (she was the whole reason we went to the sale. We were the back up bidders but had to draw the line somewhere. 😅).

This yearling buck is by far one of the most powerful bucks we have ever owned. He is deep bodied, big b***d, square, has a beautiful head and horn set, big level top, good neck extension, lots of muscle (not just fat and sloppy), and has the best disposition.

He will definitely be on the truck this year to shows. We will also be using him on several does this year!

I have also included several of the other lots we brought home!

Just your friendly reminder that when choosing a show feed, the most expensive or most popular isn't always the best and that feeds milled at smaller/local mills can work just as good as the mass produced commercial feeds!

It smells delicious!!! Mini pellets, corn, and rolled barley. 17.5% protein/5% fat. Deccox (at a far higher rate than the other feed which turns out has less that the recommended amount per ton 😬). Ammonium Cloride. Amino acids. Probiotics. B12 Supplement. Super nice vitamin and mineral package (yes, I know all the values aren't listed directly on the tag but they are listed in ingredients and I asked the nutritionist about the guaranteed minimum of each) all for $15 per 50lb bag... that is $10 less PER BAG than the commercial feeds we were using with less added to it...

We have never had our kids flock to a feed and wipe out their creep feeder as fast as they did this feed today when we switched them over. Our show goats also look a lot fresher but still have really nice cover since switching from one of the newer, really "popular" feeds to this about 30 days ago!

It's human nature to want to follow the crowd and try the "new best thing" but sometimes the marketing makes a product look like it's the best when there are several cheaper options that are just as good, if not better!

We sure are fond of this little 7 week old black dapple doeling. She has so much NATURAL shape with no extra fluffy hair. Her mom have always been really smooth haired with a lot of natural bone and muscle. I expect this girl to be the same! You don't need extra fluff on the ones like this!!

To say that the last 36 hours has been busy would be an understatement. We had severe storms come through Friday night/Saturday morning and ended up having to get trees off the cattle pasture fence. We finally got the rest of the fence fixed back up today and I came home to new baby goats!

She ended up having a super cool black paint doeling and a monster traditional buckling.

I have had a LOT of inquiries about buck kids and this guy will be the only one we will have available! We only had 3 bucklings this spring (one was stillborn and one was sold as a bottle baby).

I know it's to soon to call him "herdsire material" and a lot of people would choose a mediocre colored buck over a whopper of a traditional buck, but this guy is going to be something else! We will probably hang on to him for a bit and show him as a junior and offer him when he is closer to breeding age!

With how he is bred and how much muscle he has on him as a newborn, I really think he will do wonders in the right hands! He also has a thick bottom jaw and super masculine head.

Not to mention that his mom stands on TREE TRUCKS for legs!
