Looks like this needs to be shared again! Yes, we are open!!! But it’s a holiday weekend and if you message us past 8pm or on a day we are closed, we WILL NOT respond until the next business day!!! We value our time outside of work! Please disregard any posts not made by us stating we are permanently closed.

We have been having issues receiving voicemails for the past month (AT&T says something about new towers yadda yadda) and have switched to text-only scheduling for the time being, so please bear with us! We are currently accepting new clients within a certain weight range, and are open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, taking appointments between 7:30am and 1pm. We try desperately to answer the phone during our business hours as well, but the dogs in our care are always our priority! Spots are filling up the holidays! Call/Text us asap!

It's time to talk about some unpleasant stuff. I promise we will be brief. But due to recent interactions, this is a policy that needs to be pointed out.

As dogs age many things change. And this is OK, AND in many cases great! (Housebreaking anyone?)

But there are some downsides once our fluffy companions get to an age or time when it's hard to stand. Or maybe they've become more nippy due to pain or poor vision? Or have seizures that can set off when stressed.

We are educated and skilled in grooming your companion. But we aren't veterinarians. We can't diagnose or treat ailments, nor can we manage a medically distressed dog in a timely manner. When this happens we refer to a veterinary groom. Basically a groomer attached to a clinic, so there is medical help if needed. In these instances, we will not be able to continue grooming your dog. We would refer out and give the next groomer our notes.

Some things can be worked around depending on severity and safety. Like mild mobility issues. Instead of doing a full groom, we might look at doing a quicker comfort groom or splitting the appointment over two days.

We appreciate your understanding and as always, we want the best for your pups! Grooming can be asking a lot of them and we do not feel comfortable pushing them past their limits. If you have questions or concerns please call or message the shop!

Just a head's up to our clients: We are booking for mid-August right now and the month is filling up fast! If you'd like a late summer or fall appointment for your pooch, give us a call or send us a message ASAP! We highly suggest booking out with us at least 3 weeks in advance, or booking on a regular schedule to guarantee grooming spots with us in the future. We can no longer take week-of appointments! We are a small team and want to ensure that quality takes priority over quantity for the safety and wellbeing of our staff and your dogs!

Dearest clients, we have received some backlash recently regarding our continued curbside services and would again like to reiterate that, for the safety of our staff and clients, we will continue these services indefinitely. Our staff has not been able to get both rounds of the vaccine yet, and we do not feel comfortable continuing business as usual until we do! Please bear with us as we continue to do our part in keeping everyone safe. We truly appreciate you and your pups!
