🎆 Happy Fourth of July from Fully Loaded Canines! 🇺🇸 🎆

While you're enjoying the fireworks and festivities, remember—your dog might not be having as much fun. Loud booms, flashing lights, and big crowds can be overwhelming for our four-legged friends.

Here are 4 quick tips to keep your pup safe and calm tonight:

🐾 1. Create a Safe Space: Set up a quiet, cozy area inside where your dog can retreat and feel secure. Close windows and curtains to muffle the sound and block the flashes.

🐾 2. Keep Them Inside: Fireworks can cause even calm dogs to panic. Make sure all doors, windows, and gates are secure, and your dog’s ID tag is on—just in case.

🐾 3. Use a Leash Outside: If you need to take your dog out, even for a quick potty break, keep them on a leash. Even well-trained dogs can bolt when scared.

🐾 4. Distract & Comfort: Offer a favorite chew, play calming music, or use enrichment toys to redirect their focus. Some dogs benefit from calming vests or natural anxiety aids.

Maverick & Gunner are just over 12 weeks old, and already starting their training journey!
Why so early? Because puppies are little sponges—this is the best time to build confidence and teach good habits that last a lifetime.

At Fully Loaded Canines, safety is our top priority. We require a vet check and vaccine clearance before training begins, and during the vaccination process, pups are kept safely separated while still being introduced to the world in a structured, positive way. Maverick & Gunner got the vets approval to start meeting some puppy friends today! (The dogs they will be meeting are fully vaccinated)
