Great Tip for puppies learning the place command!

Letting your puppy get their wiggles out first makes a huge difference in training.

A puppy full of energy can’t relax on place.

They’re not being stubborn, they just haven’t burned it off yet.

Give them an outlet first, then ask for calm. You will be a lot more successful in your endeavor!

As they grow, you can teach them to be calm and stationary when asked… even when they’re energized.

Energy out → calm in → calm on command 🐾
