Spay and Neuter Clinic Alert
Our next spay/ neuter clinic is set for May 9th!! We do have limited spots and your spot is not reserved until you pay which must be PRIOR to the clinic day. All wellness fees are waived and spays are discounted from our normal fee. Cats must be up to date on their rabies and if they are not one will be administered at the time of surgery. To reserve your spot call 641-828-2101

Today is World Veterinary Day and last but certinaly not least to recognize of our doctors, is Dr. Laura McGill. Dr. McGill joined the Animal Health Center family in 2019. She treats both horses and small animals. Laura graduated from Penn State for undergrad and then went to vet school at Iowa State Unoversity. She is originally from New Jersey but she now lives in Colfax, IA on a small acreage with her family. Laura and her hubsand Josiah along with their daughter Ellie recently welcomed new baby boy Sean to their family. When she is not working she enjoys time with family and friends, kayaking, and side by side rides!

Thank you Dr. Laura McGill for everything you do!! 🐾

World Veterinary Day is Saturday and next up on the list is Dr. Trisha Webb she joined the Animal Health Center in 2018. She treats both large animal and small animals. Trisha is originally from Pleasantville, IA where she currently resides with her husband Brock, sons Marshall and Bennett, and bird dog Boone. She went to Iowa State University for both undergraduate and veterinary school. Highlights of the last year include welcoming her second son into the world and seeing us break ground on our new clinic. In her free time she enjoys hunting, traveling, farming and hanging out with friends and family.

Happy Administrative Professionals Day! To celebrate we are sharing the two gals that keep our office running smoothly upfront! Next we have Heather! Heather joined the Animal Health Center family in April 2021. She is one our front desk receptionist. Heather is originally from North Carolina and moved to Knoxville in 2012. She and her husband have two beautiful daughters! They also have three dogs Clara, Rocky, and Baxter. Heather likes to spend her days reading, going on walks, and spending time with her family.

Originally from Texas, she found her way to Iowa and decided to pursue a career that got her closer to what she loves, animals! She has two dogs she loves dearly, Norrie who is 7 and Nala who is 5. Highlights of the last year include, graduating, traveling, and spending time with her girls! In her free time she enjoys going to the gym, reading, and playing ball with Norrie and Nala.

Today we recognize one of our other doctors and owners Dr. Clint Hodson. Dr. Hodson joined the Animal Health Center family in 2016. He treats both large animal and small animals. Clint is originally from Ackworth, IA and now resides in Pleasantville. He graduated from Iowa State with his undergrad and then went onto vet school at ISU as well. He and his wife Carly have one handsome son, Camden. Dr.Hodson enjoys hunting, working on the farm, and spending time with his wife and son.
