🐾 Meet Norbert 🐾

Big. Handsome. Absolutely full of love.

Norbert is a gentle nine-year-old giant with a heart of gold. He might take a little time to warm up, but once he does? He’s all in. We’re talking slow blinks, head bumps, and purrs on demand. This boy’s love language is quality time: brushing sessions, lap naps, and snuggling up in bed beside his favourite humans. He doesn’t ask for much — just someone who’ll make room for him (literally 🛏️). Norbert is ready to write his next chapter, and he’s looking for a family who’ll love him as fiercely as he’ll love them back. If you’re ready to commit, apply to adopt Norbert today at feralfelinefriends.org.

Lox is three months old and operating at 100% orange cat energy with zero percent impulse control. He means well. He really does. He’s lanky in the way that suggests his legs arrived before the rest of him did, and he hasn’t quite figured out what to do about it. Does that stop him? Absolutely not. Does it stop anything he’s trying to knock off a shelf? Also no. His foster mom describes him as a goofball running exclusively on orange cat energy and good intentions, which is the most accurate thing anyone has ever said about a cat.Lox is looking for a home that’s ready for a little chaos, a lot of heart, and one very sincere orange boy who is doing his best. 🍊🐱 Apply to adopt him today at feralfelinefriends.org.

Some cats announce themselves. Carlotta is not that cat.

She's the kind of girl who slips quietly into the room, finds a comfortable spot, and watches — not because she's scared, but because she's thoughtful. She likes to know the lay of the land before she commits. And once she does? She commits completely.

Carlotta is six years old and absolutely lovely. Head scratches are her love language, your lap is her favorite destination, and she has a playful streak she tends to reveal only when she's decided you've earned it. There's something genuinely special about being the person a cat like Carlotta finally chooses — and she will choose you, fully and without reservation, once she feels at home.

She'll do best somewhere calm and unhurried — no young kids, and dogs are still a question mark, though she's done well with gentle, respectful cats. What she needs most is simply patience, a soft place to land, and someone who understands that the best things take a little time.

Come meet her at our adoption event this SUNDAY at PetSmart in TURKEY CREEK from 11-3. She might not run up to greet you — but she'll notice you. And that's how it starts. Want to skip to the happy ending? Check out our online adoption application at feralfelinefriends.org.

🏁 THE RACE IS ON — but nobody's crossed the finish line yet.

Meet Mario, Luigi, Pauline, Rosalina, and Yoshi — five two-month-old siblings who came into this world with the most iconic names in gaming and somehow, somehow, still don't have homes. We've been waiting. They've been waiting. Rainbow Road has been waiting.

These kittens have been in the starting grid for weeks without being adopted. They showed up ready to race — playful, sweet, and full of the kind of chaotic kitten energy that makes you laugh even when they're knocking things off your counter — and the world has yet to respond accordingly. We're not mad. We're just confused.

You can meet all five of them at our adoption event this SATURDAY at PetSmart in Powell from 10-4 — no kart required. Whether you're looking for a solo companion or want to give two siblings a home together, these guys are ready to go. Applications are open, the finish line is right there, and all you have to do is show up.

🥇 First place is still available. Come claim it. Apply today at feralfelinefriends.org!

Two-year-old Rumor is a friendly girl who has spent her life in a harsh business parking lot, successfully raising two litters of kittens with the employees caring for her. While her kittens moved on to cozy beds with employees, Rumor was left behind, waiting for weekday feedings and surviving on the kindness of busy people. Rumor is now ready to retire from the breeding cycle, as the parking lot is not an ideal environment, especially with only weekday feedings. This resilient girl has given enough. She is looking for a cozy, indoor home offering safety, consistent care, and love. If you are looking for a gentle, affectionate girl to join your family, Rumor is ready to start her new life. She’s headed back to Scruffy’s Cafe in downtown Knoxville this week until her forever family finds her… which we hope is soon! Are YOU the perfect fam for her? Check out our adoption application online at feralfelinefriends.org!

Meet Matt, our resident gentle giant and certified oversized lovebug.
Weighing in at almost fifteen pounds of pure affection, Matt may start off shy, but once he warms up, he becomes your very own oversized shadow, always ready to snuggle, supervise, or sprawl dramatically across your lap.

Playful when the mood strikes, Matt’s real passion is being as close to his person as physically possible. He’s got a ton of love to give, he just asks for a little patience as he adjusts to new faces. Matt grew up as the center of attention, so introductions to other pets or younger children may take some slow, thoughtful steps, older kids are more his speed.

By day, Matt moonlights as an “office assistant” for his foster mom. His specialties include light gossiping with coworkers, warming desks to the perfect temperature, and making sure productivity never dips (because he will absolutely remind you when it’s time for a break).

If you’re looking for a loyal companion, a dedicated lap warmer, and a giant friend with an even bigger heart… Matt may be your guy. Apply today at feralfelinefriends.org.

Eight-month-old Danny is still learning that the world can be a kind place, but he is proving to be an incredibly brave and sweet companion. After his elderly caretaker was hospitalized, Danny was unfortunately left behind inside the house. When rescue volunteers first arrived to catch him, he was terrified and certainly wasn't showing his best side. However, it didn't take long for Danny to realize that human hands bring comfort, deciding that head scratches are actually pretty wonderful. He even follows his foster mom around and when he's feeling particularly brave will jump up on the bed and flop over inviting pets. Danny's absolute favorite thing in the world—above all else—is the bird toy. Danny loves other cats so a cat friend would help him adjust. Danny is looking for a patient adopter who will let him settle in at his own pace. In return, you will get to watch a timid kitty blossom into a devoted, playful friend. Is he perfect for your family? If so, head to feralfelinefriends.org to apply to adopt him today.

Hi, the name's Marty and I'm two months old. The kids in my foster home named me after the zebra from Madagascar because my stripes are really cool, but if you ask me, I'm wayyy too fierce to be named after a silly zebra. I'm a single kitten, so I didn't have any siblings to teach me how to play nicely. Translation? I play HARD. I get so excited and I play bite a lot, but I swear I'm just playing and still trying to learn my manners. Because of this I should really go to a home with older children that understand I'm teething, playing, and learning. I like dogs and am used to three loud canines (20-65lbs) in my foster home. I also like other cats, and the resident cats at my foster home are trying to teach me how to play nicely... I'll admit I'm a slow learner. I've never met a cat toy I didn't like, and I will play with you for hours! When I am totally played out, my soft side comes out, and I will snuggle right into your neck and purr loudly while you pet me. One more little thing... I was born without a tail, but trust me when you're as tough as me, a tail would only slow me down, I get by mighty fine without it! Sounds good to you? Apply to adopt me at feralfelinefriends.org!
