The purpose of the Tennessee 4-H Horse Show Program is to provide a progressive series of educational opportunities for 4-H members to exhibit their skills at the county, region, state, or regional and national levels. This program allows the 4-H members to participate in activities designed to improve their sense of citizenship, fair play, horse management, character, competitive attitude and self-discipline, while creating an atmosphere for learning and applying
life skills.

Tennessee 4-H made an outstanding showing at the 2025 Southern Regional 4-H Horse Championships!

Our youth demonstrated exceptional knowledge, sportsmanship, and competitive spirit across multiple events, proudly representing Tennessee!

Highlights from the event include:

- Lana Johnson (Rhea County) – High Point Champion in the Gaited Division

- Marion County Horse Bowl Team – 4th Overall

- Isabella Petty (Marion County) – 5th High Individual, Horse Bowl

- Sumner County Hippology Team – 8th Overall

- Blount County – 7th Overall in both Horse Bowl and Hippology

- Paili Doyle (Williamson County) – 7th Overall in Public Speaking

- Bledsoe County Horse Judging Team – 7th Overall

A huge congratulations to Lana Johnson of Rhea County for being named High Point Champion in the Gaited Division at Southern Regional 4-H Horse Championships!

This prestigious honor recognizes Lana as one of the top competitors across 13 Southern states. Her hard work, skill, and dedication truly set her apart. We are incredibly proud of the way she represented Tennessee on this highly competitive stage!
