Because vulnerable pet owners deserve a chance at finding their pets and not being scammed by groups of people sitting in a room with multiple fake profiles who then recommend multiple fake pet recovery sites- it doesn’t matter if these fake pet pages have 1,000 followers or 17,000 followers- look at the profiles recommending- then look at the pages- none of them have live videos, dogs in traps, or trackers on location showing you who they are on scene, working the case!
This sickens me- because there are great trackers out there in different states and legitimate drone services too!
However, it’s also mindful to know if a service is facebook blue check verified- meaning they are a legitimate service through verification of the platform.
This is to give you all an example of the profiles mentioning the services of fake sites- notice they have 0 friends- notice- on fake pet pages- no dog is with any recovery team- except one- and the picture is stolen- with a totally different name on car magnet then the page itself.
Be aware and be safe. We are not a free service but we do offer a “free phone consultation” and not every case is the same amount as others. What is the difference in price?
•Distance•Travel Time•Gas•Can our tracking dog be used (only if you have isolated scent- blanket, harness, crate mat, hair brush- of said dog missing)• Drone service (depending on area, weather, and environment such as being in the vicinity of an airport which depends on how many miles dog is missing from airport) airports are no fly zones for me and any drone operator that is not with a federal or state agency. Traps- yes, whether you need a box trap, missy kennel trap 6x8, or collarum- snappy snare in ground (my last resort) which works with dogs who won’t go in trap.
Flyers? Signs? If we make them, print them, hang them— so, not everyone will get the same quote. No different than not everyone’s veterinarian bill is the same. It depends on what is needed and if we can help, we will!
Folks- watch out for others missing a dog, or cat- and if you see profiles recommending a “pet tracking service “- that is not legitimate- fake- CALL THEM OUT IN A SEPARATE COMMENT SO THEY CANT DELETE YOUR COMMENT- 🤷♀️☺️👍
They come in owners posts, lost pet pages posts, and we together can help- by flagging fake profiles and fake pages. It’s hard enough on owners as it is to loose a pet- but even celebrity pages get fake people making fake fan pages- its the internet- don’t believe everything you read- no celebrity is gonna ask you in messenger to pay for a meet and greet with them- and no pet tracking service can fly a drone from Nigeria, or China- to Tennessee to save your pet! 🤦♀️
