Please understand that we breeders spend alot of time, money & heart with our breeds. This is something that could have been avoided.
Please note that from this point on, pictures of "Aproved " enclosures will be a MUST in order to purchase from us. It is not to be hateful & no its not because we feel better than anyone else. It is to avoid gut wrenching post like this & watch all our work to be completely disrespected!
I love each & everyone who has purchased from us and hold you all as family. We have been extremely lucky to not have had this happen but I will do everything in my power to keep it that way. Thank you for understanding!

I have not had a lot of time since convention to process this particular situation as life has been busy. What I will say is this, that I learned a very valuable lesson and one I will make sure to not repeat. I had a red flag and due to my loving, empathetic nature I always like to give the benefit of the doubt. Minutes after 2C’s Sugar Heart was paid in full, I received pictures of an open enclosure of where she would be living. This is when I received the red flag and should have followed my gut instinct, declined the sale, and refunded the money in full but I did not. Sugar Heart was picked up Friday night at convention and sometime late Tuesday, early Wednesday morning she was attacked and killed by a pack of coyotes because she was in an open enclosure. Once receiving the news, my heart sank. Sugar Heart was second generation and had the sweetest personality. She was on her way to do wonderful things for the Czech Frosty breed.

I hold my rabbits dear and close to my heart, especially homegrowns, ones who were born in my barn. The ones who make it past the cull are valuable for a reason.

This one situation hurt more though. Sugar Heart was a doe and everyone is looking for one. There were others who were in line who had an appropriate enclosure and still chose to give the benefit of the doubt.

With this said, if I learn of any enclosure, set up that is inappropriate for a rabbit, I will decline the s@le and/or return your money. This is for the best interest of the rabbit and my peace of mind. I WILL NOT REPEAT THIS MISTAKE.

Rabbit friends & family please please listen up.... A fellow Rabbit family has had a bad fire & need help & prayers 🙏 right now. Critters Creek Farm Rescue And Sanctuary Had an electrical fire over the weekend and need us friends & families help! Darla Kay Yeomans and her family open their doors to help animals that don't have it so good. This family works full-time jobs to feed all these animals that have no where to go, its the holidays and they now need us to rally and send help. Please take a moment to visit the fb page that is tagged and send help, share & say a prayer. Anything is appreciated & welcomed!!!!

It is with very heavy heart that we are posting the passing of our sweet guy Draco...(aka Mr wreckingball from 2C's Rabbitry ) he had been our house baby the last few years , due to him not handling the barn at his old age. He was one of our mini lop herd bucks that gave us several amazing litters. He will be missed alot!!! R.i.p. Draco 💔

Sadden I am making this post, however it has to be done to keep our barn safe & not allow "peepers" in and use any pictures that don't belong to them.
So please understand...going forward we will be changing our privacy settings to "private " and a request will need to be made to join. This was never our intention to have to do this, however there have been a few that have taken pictures, info and are trying to use it to shut our rabbitry down.
