I’ve been horrible about the social media thing the last few months but I couldn’t let this one slip by. Big congrats to Stephanie who was riding Margret’s big mare, Hailey’s Comet, placing Reserve Champion in the Maiden division at the War Horse Event series this weekend out of a whopping 43 horses! Finishing on their dressage score of a 26.5!

Also showing this weekend were Parker and Magic who, after an unscheduled break in their training for the last month or so, came out of their Beginer Novice championship dressage test with a very nice 34.7 and tied for 16th out of 28 horses. They then jumped clear in stadium and cross country to move up and finish 8th!

Awesome work ladies!,

One of our local dressage trainers suffered a brain aneurysm earlier this year and our awesome community has come together to help raise funds for her medical expenses. Tami Batts and Fellowship farm are hosting a schooling show and auction at the end of July. Please click the link and check it out, there are a slew of wonderful trainers (myself included) who have put lessons up for bid in the auction to help raise funds, as well as some beautiful art, pottery and other horse items! Click the link below and then click on auction or the July 23rd schooling show links at the top of the page for more information!

Another proud trainer post! Maeson and Parker went to War Horse this weekend and showed in a large junior beginner novice class. Maeson and Apollo scored a 30.5 in dressage and finished the show in first place and Parker and Magic earned a 35.5 and finished fourth! Way to go ladies! Great work! Unfortunately I don’t have pics of them from this weekend so here are some older ones.

Great weekend with Jessica, Keno and a whole bunch of our favorite people at the Summertime Blues horse show at the Harness Track in Pinehurst! Our goal was to get that last first level score for Jessica’s bronze medal on Saturday and a qualifying score for them to attend CBLM championships this fall on Sunday. We got that all squared away with a 64.8% and first place on Saturday and a 63.5% and second place on Sunday! Now we spend the rest of the summer polishing and strengthening! Great job team and a big thank you Jordyn and Kris for hosting us and Keno this weekend!

Fun weekend teaching at Stonewall Farm! Always a fun group of hard working riders!

Need to also send a big congratulations to Parker and Maeson who showed Beginner Novice at War Horse last weekend. You both work so hard at your goals and it shows! Parker and Magic earned a 26% and finished first place in the class. Maeson and Apollo earned a 31% and finished 5th. Way go ladies!

So very proud of Jessica and Keno this weekend! This was Jessica’s first rated show. Besides just getting over the nerves of the first rated show and wanting them to have a positive experience, our icing on the cake goal was 2 60% or higher (at first level) to start the journey to earn her bronze medal. She handily earned a 64 yesterday and 65 today. We had the same judge both days and you need the score from two separate judges so only 1 will count but I couldn’t be happier with and for the two of them! On ward to the next one!

Super proud trainer brag! I’m so proud of these 2 girls and their ponies this weekend at the War Horse Event Series Championships!

Maeson and Apollo competed in the Beginner Novice championships and finished 3rd place out of 33 riders. She was the highest scoring junior rider!

Parker and Hailey also competed in the beginner novice championships and finished an amazing 8th out of 33 riders!

Parker also took Magic out for their first time ever showing together and Magic’s first time going to an eventing show and they won their Maiden Horse Trial out of 11 riders!

To say I’m proud is an understatement! These two work hard to not only be better riders but also better horse women. They put a lot of time and effort into their goal of competing at the War Horse Championships and it’s such a thrill to see them not just succeed but excell!
