Noble Hill Rescue, Inc. We are always looking for forever homes for our adoptable horses. Nice horses are available for all levels of experience.

We also have many horses who will find sanctuary here. Love horses but don't have time or space for them-consider sponsoring one! Most of the horses have had a career of being on the road,however we have Saddlebreds, Standardbreds, Quarter horses, Morgans, and Thoroughbreds (and sometimes Haflingers).All the horses are sweet, gentle animals without vices like kicking or biting. Some are well trai

ned and some need some training.Most make great horses for kids that can ride or older folks that still want to!

Sanctuary Spotlight: Petey
Petey, born Pebbles Ebony Colorado, is a 26 year old Tennessee Walker who came to Noble Hill in 2017. He is a very friendly guy who tries every cute maneuver to garner treats out of people; he has a permanent “milk mustache” to go with all the cookies he eats.

On our non-busy days Petey is the official greeter, being a yard horse. All that freedom of not being contained to one of the normal horse fields has gone to Petey’s head and sometimes he has found himself in sticky situations because he viewed barriers as mere suggestions or obstacles to overcome. But on days of our events he is confined to Petey jail.

Sugar Baby would make a great project for someone experienced with youngsters! She loves being around people and is very curious. Sugar has not started a formal training program yet so she would be great for a home looking to be involved in starting a young horse.

Honey is a retired buggy horse who added riding to her skill set since coming to Noble Hill. She had been adopted but returned this summer since her family moved abroad for missionary work. Honey is a big, stocky girl who loves affection.

Update on Ted
Ted’s surgery on Tuesday went very well! He had been living at the quarantine farm up until he left for the vets and after the operation he came to Noble Hill. He adjusted smoothly into losing half his vision and then being in an unfamiliar place and Ted quickly found a friend in Blaze
