Yesterday, some of our volunteers took Logan & Harper (no not OUR Harper!) to their new home! A couple, who are 2 time, previous adopters, decided to the pups in, & love them for the rest of their lives!!

While the previous owner’s (who passed last month) girlfriend was very sad that she couldn’t physically take care of them, she knows they are now in great hands!

Logan is already a shadow to the new Dad, & Harper has become the new Mom’s constant companion!

They also live near my hometown, so I can pop in & say HELLO to everyone!!

WHAT AN AMAZING DOG!! He detected a seizure in a TOTAL STRANGER !!

This is the same thing that happened with a dog was training back in 2015. Molly wasn’t bonding with the serviceman I was training her for. But I kept training her, just in case I found a better fit.

It took me two times at Sam’s, and once at CVS, to realize she was alerting me when my blood sugar was too low. Ten years later, she has alerted me, and even woken me up, more times than I can remember!



“We did not know that she had this ability,” animal shelter volunteer Jackie Poppe said about the dog.

Meet Paco!! Located in Broome Co., NY.

He is a very sweet, quiet guy. Just a bit nervous, with the new situation, but doing well!

He is 1&1/2yrs old, & not neutered yet. Has shots.

Paco has been hanging around with my crew, and he seems to get along with my pups, my dog-loving cats, and older kids. Haven’t tried him yet with younger kids around here.

So I couldn’t find my dog Cocoa, for about an hour this morning. Turns out, he decided to chill in the “storage/junk closet.”

Hazel needs a new home! She is a 7 month old mix of Lab, & possibly Dalmatian, but with a small dog (min pin) thrown in! She is very sweet, and gets along great with dogs, cats and kids. She is free to a good home, with a vet reference.
