Stay tuned for a new friend update. As much as I love rescuing some times I have to make that purchase to bandaid my heart from to many losses. Today I go and put half down on a new friend that should be here tomorrow. This new friend will be 1 may 1st. This will be a big friend. Leave your guesses in the comments. We are all safe from the brush fire the wind kept it away from us. This is a note to all. This is why we follow the regulations on the burn bans. Luck to have friends that offered to help move animals to there place if it came this way and plenty more offering there hand. Please don’t burn till the ban is lifted, there are a lot of lives in the path.

Update, so all the animals have been placed for the night. I went to my neighbors to help unload a trailer. Nothing can really be posted as there is still an investigation going on but was it heartbreaking. It was beyond and worse.

Stay posted Oswego spca just posted a bad rescue happening 60+ horses cows birds not sure what else. Waiting for a reply from them to head out to do my part and save some lives. Fingers crossed they all get saved

Some new friends are joining us today. They come from a very happy home were they were cared for and loved. The original owner decided they did not want them and left them in the care of another family member (the ones loving and taking care of them) they decided it was a bit to much for them to do on there own and seeked help were we were notified and having the room we decided to bring them on.

It was a long morning Dusty decided to lay down in the corner of his stall were he could not get up after a few hours we were able to get him out of the stall and lifted with help of the mighty mini tractor and family. Right now we could use some healing prayers as we are not sure if we are looking at nerve damage or mini stroke. Prayers his eye will be more normal by morning. Vets will be out later in the week to do a check up unless any drastic changes. Right now we’re keeping an eye on him and feeding and watering off the ground as his balance is off.
