ISO: Barn Help/Managing Position at a private Dressage barn in Kirkland, IL. Looking for someone with experience in horse care, attention to detail, self-motivated, knowledgeable, and who possesses a genuine love for horses and their care. Offering 20 hours a week Monday through Friday afternoons 1 pm to 5 pm. Currently Sundays would be twice a month 8 am to 12 pm. During the week duties include, but not limited to: bringing in horses, feeding, sweeping, watering the indoor arena, taking off blankets, filling buckets, general tidying, and monitoring of horses, etc. Sundays will include cleaning and bedding stalls and turnout. Must have a reliable car, live within a reasonable distance, and have the ability to work in outdoor conditions. References are a plus.
