We really need your help! We have several animals who need to find foster homes right away.

Meet Ren (black cat), Capri (dark brindle puppy), Buttons (black border collie) and Henry (gray border collie). For a variety of reasons, we need to find a place for them right away. Can you give them even a temporary home?

🐈‍⬛🩷Okay, cat people, Now's your time! We need cat and kitten fosters!🩷🐈‍⬛

First up is Reneey, the beautiful black kitty girl. She came in as a stray, clearly hungry, and would really benefit from a loving foster (or forever!) home.

The kittens are Candle (tabby), Wick (all black), and their brother, name TBD. All three are boys and were born under a house to a feral mom. The two black kittens will be paired together, so we're looking for a foster home that can take them both. We're also hoping to find a pairing for Candle, as kittens do better with a friend. Just look at those sweet faces!

​Our little rescue recently took in not one, not two, but SIX dogs suffering from porcupine quill injuries! As you might imagine, this has resulted in some big medical bills as we've gotten them the acute care they needed, as well as typical expenses to get them ready for adoption, like vaccines and spays/neuters.

Read on for the pets' stories, but have your tissues ready!

First up was Boss, the big chocolate goofball. He not only had the quills in his snout, but also a nasty abscess on his left shoulder. He also needed to be neutered, which ended up being more complex than typical. That all said, Boss is now thriving in a foster home, running and playing nonstop with his canine foster brother.

Shortly after we took in Boss, we got a call about several Aussies in squalid conditions in an old potato shed. We found five injured, dehydrated, and scared pups who needed our help right away. Rescuing them meant several additional vet visits beyond the quill removal; in addition to spaying and neutering them, one ended up with quills in their throat and another had a foreign body lodged in their foot. Thankfully, they are all on the road to recovery and we are working on finding forever homes for them.

Check out Buddy and Holly! This sibling pair is fun-loving and beyond cute and are patiently waiting for the day they find their forever home -- That'll Be the Day (see what we did there?)

They're super friendly dogs, with Buddy a little more outgoing than Holly. They're a perfect portable size and love a romp as much as they love a snooze. It's So Easy to love them (did it again!)

It's Father's Day, so we can't resist spotlighting our father-son duo, Sammy and Little Jack! They are funny boys who love to run and play together but also LOVE to snooze the day away.

These two had a longtime home but lost it earlier this year when their owner passed. We'd love to see them in a loving forever home together so they regain that stability.

Check out Boss! He's been chilling in a foster home and is ready to find his forever family. Can we make Friday the 13th his lucky day?!

Boss is a big dog with a big heart. He's had a bad run of luck lately, but with some healing time, we're seeing his goofy, loving personality come out. He loves people and other dogs and does well with kids.

Boss is house-trained and knows some basic commands. He walks really well on a leash, with no pulling. He's definitely got some things to learn, but he's smart and wants to please. He will make a wonderful companion!

A few of the rescued Aussies have received lots of attention and more than a few applications, but Quincy and Quarry are still looking for foster homes!

Both of these two pups are on the shyer side and are just working on leash walking and other basics. They will need lots of love and patience in order to come out of their shells and thrive.

They do NOT need to be fostered together, but if we're able to find someone in the South Seattle/Renton area, that would be ideal. We have a trainer willing to work with the pups in that area, which will help their growth.

Callie is an older puppy and so brings lots of energy and fun wherever she goes. She had a tough start in life and we'd love to her her find a foster home filled with love and companionship.

Our Story

Red Waggin' Rescue is a 501(c)3 pet Non-Profit organization EIN# 45-5455943. We are based in Connell, WA but have foster homes across Washington State where our adoptable pets stay until they find forever homes.

To contact us, please email [email protected]. To view our pets available for adoption, our adoption policies, or to apply for a pet online, visit: RedWagginRescue.petfinder.com We are run by part-time unpaid volunteers and our pets stay in foster homes, so we do not have an open facitlity for public viewing. Donations: Our adoption fees cover the basic vet care (including spays/neuters and microchipping) for our dogs and cats. However, we are always in need of a little extra for extra vet care. Many of the animals we rescue are in need of extra care besides the basics and in the end the adoption fees don't always cover the full cost of the animal. (Eg: Fractures, dental cleanings/extractions, and illnesses) Any amount you can spare, even $2, helps care for these animals and to find them new homes.
