Callie is about to graduate from the Ridge Dogs program where she has received lots of love and training. She had a rough start at life, but now she's ready to join a new family! We are looking for a foster or, even better, forever home.

Medical Foster Needed! Please Share!

Poor Freeway came to us in rough shape! Freeway is a 60-pound male mixed breed dog. He was found on the roadside (hence the name) having either been hit by a car or fallen out of a moving vehicle. He has a broken pelvis, broken base of his tail, and multiple abrasions on his legs.

We need to find a foster home for Freeway right away so that we can get his pain managed and start him on the road to recovery while we evaluate our options. We know that surgery is in Freeway's future, but have to see what the best course will be. In the meantime he needs medicine three times a day and to be kept comfortable and clean while he heals.

Check out beautiful Alex!

Alex is a sweet young adult boy whose family had to give him up during some hard times. Thankfully, through a friend of a friend, we get the honor of helping both Alex and his family out.

Alex is a Pure Scottish Straight cat, which, if you subscribed to Cat Fancy like we did, is a pretty Fancy Cat. In addition to being beautiful, he's very loving and cuddly once he gets to know you.

🚨Quarry needs your help! We must find a new foster home for him by 12/14! 🚨

Quarry has come a long way since earlier this year when he was rescued from terrible conditions with several other Aussies. He's still coming out of his shell and needs the right person or people to help him find his forever home.

Here's what he needs:

- A home with a confident leader dog to help him come out of his shell.
- A person (or people!) who have experience with dogs who have endured trauma who can be patient as he learns to trust again.
- A home with a secure, fenced yard. 6ft. or greater wood fence, please.
- No cats or small children. Quarry needs peace without distractions.

Oh no! Our tree frame collapsed and now we have a whole lot of trees needing homes and no great way to display them. If you were thinking of buying a tree, head on down to Woodinville PetSmart and support Red Waggin’. Every tree sold supports animals in need and, if we say so ourselves, these are some beautiful trees.

Callie - Red Waggin' Rescue - Pet of the Week!

Callie is currently part of the Ridge Dogs program that allows inmates in a local correctional facility to train dogs as part of their own healing process. We are excited at her progress and know she will make a wonderful companion!

Callie came to Red Waggin' Rescue when she had been dumped in eastern Washington. Someone witnessed the person dumping her with her legs tied together. Isn't that awful?!

Callie is about one year old and in good health. Though we recently noted that Callie does have a tooth that needs to come out, and she still needs her spay.

Callie is very friendly and still trusting of people.. She has been described as having "typical lab energy.." She needs someone to continue working on basic training with her, but she's definitely teachable. She has bright, friendly, puppy energy.

She is good with other dogs. She will need dogs of similar age and energy for sure.

The very best thing about Callie is that she has a heart of gold. She is a wiggly puppy that sometimes jumps up on you, BUT she is SO affectionate and loyal. She just wants love and to be loved so badly. She is quite honestly the most loyal dog we have in our 30 dogs in rescue.

She would do best with a calm home environment, with someone who has the time to focus on her, and who is consistent, and ideally working from home or around a lot.
