He will be getting neutered this week and going to his new home! On top of that, two other dogs at the Shelter received applications from guests at the trunk or treat!! we cannot express how happy we are over the wild success of last night! Thank you so much.

🚨 **CALLING ALL HELPING HANDS!** 🚨

The shelter manager has officially decided it's time to tackle those storage trailers… and could use a little (okay, A LOT!) of help! 😂

We're looking for volunteers next **Saturday, November 7th, starting around 9:00 AM** to help clean out, straighten up, and organize our storage trailers.

We could really use **at least 5 volunteers, but the more the merrier!** The more hands, the less work for everyone (and the happier the shelter manager will be)! 🤣

💪 Got a few hours to spare?
👫 Have a group looking for a volunteer project?
❤️ Want to help your local animal shelter?

We'd love to have you!

Please reach out if you can help or if you have a group that would be willing to come lend a hand.

Let's show those storage trailers who's boss! 🧹📦

**As always, thank you for supporting the Lenoir County SPCA. We appreciate our amazing community!** 🐾

Damsel has been waiting for a very VERY long time to find her forever home and we are becoming increasingly disheartened for her. Damsel has come so far! After months of struggling in the Shelter, she landed a wonderful Foster. However, she has been with this foster for a long time now, it’s only one meet and greet ever scheduled, but unfortunately the potential adopter found another dog. We are at a loss. Damsel will undoubtedly regressed heavily if brought back to the shelter. She is dog friendly, loyal, playful and so sweet! We are looking for an adopter or a rescue to pull her. We think a new audience would do wonders for her

Meet Esther! She is a single senior female, seeking senior companionship!!! To call this girl sweet is an understatement and she would be the perfect lap companion for someone! She is 13 years old and is a part of our Senior Cats for Senior Laps program! If you are 65 and older, her adoption fee is only $25! Come meet her!
