A witness reported a dog being dragged more than 3.5 miles near Loris, SC. Police found the dog deceased and two other dogs showing signs of severe mistreatment.

Yudiel Navarro-Valazquez, 26, faces one felony and two misdemeanor animal-cruelty charges.

A witness spoke up. Police acted. Now we must demand justice, stronger animal-abuse laws and protection for the two surviving dogs.
