Steevie x Tucker puppy. She will be on the smaller size for a Labrador.

This sweet girl is looking for her forever family to love on her. She is 1 year old and a smaller girl at about 60-65lbs and most likely won’t get much bigger. She is very sweet, outgoing and loves everyone she meets & including kids. She is great with other dogs of all sizes but has never been around cats.

While she loves to cuddle and be loved on she isn’t a full time couch potato and would love someone who can take her swimming, hiking or a best friend to throw the ball for her in the yard. She loves to retrieve and could be a great bird dog for someone with some training. She is not suited for therapy work.

She is up to date on vaccines, on monthly flea/tick meds and microchipped, no known health issues. Both of her parents have had extensive health testing prior to breeding. She is still intact and will need to be spayed when she’s a little older. ( no breeding homes). She is not a kennel dog and wants to live in the home with her people and not outside or in a kennel all day.

Are you feeding your dog too often? ⏰🍗⏰🥩⏰🥕🐶

Dogs fed once a day are less likely to be diagnosed with age-related conditions than pooches fed more often, study claims.

In the largest largest study to date of feeding frequency conducted in companion dogs, University of Arizona-led experts analyzed data on 24,238 pet dogs from the US and found:

• Being fed once a day lowered the risk of nine types of canine health problems
• These included cancer, dental issues and either kidney or urinary complications
• Similarly, dogs fed only once daily scored lower on tests of cognitive problems
• But the team said it is too early to advise owners to change their pet's diets

“We view these results as an exciting first step of an ongoing exploration of the impact of diet on companion dogs living in human environments. Given the intense interest in, and popularization of, ‘longevity diets’ such as intermittent fasting and time-restricted feeding, these types of studies in dogs are both timely and important. We believe these studies will ultimately offer insights into factors that promote health and longevity for both dogs and humans.” - The Dog Aging Project

The scientists and researchers we interviewed for The Forever Dog book agreed that one meal a day for healthy dogs is ideal, in terms of maximizing autophagy and minimizing metabolic stress.

***Update*** Spicey finishes her Championship! I just love these two littermates! Spicey is two singles away from her AKC Championship and Queso finished with three Majors under breeder judges.

CH Soundviews Just In Queso finishes up his Final Clearances with Excellent Hips and Clear Elbows! He is clear on all DDC Labrador panel tests, Heart clear by Doppler and eyes cleared annually. Queso wrapped up his AKC CH this past fall and is available to approved B!tches. DOB 10/25/23 and carries Chocolate. Queso is out of CH Soundviews loyal Sidekick @ Cameo and Brae Party Like A Rockstar at Soundview

We have decided to place Blue ~ Soundviews Blumanchew. Blue has all of his clearances, UTD on all shots and is neutered. He is leash and crate trained. He will be 4 in January. Contact me for more information if you are interested in Blue. He is not free or a rescue and families will have to be approved.
