Remembering my special boy this morning. We lost him earlier this year to a nasty pneumonia that he couldn’t quite kick at his advanced age.

So very thankful to the folks at Show Dog Video Pros for capturing “The Juice-master General” in all his glory in the 2024 DPCA National Veterans classes. A memory I will cherish!

Back home and recovered after a busy week at 2024! It had been quite a while since I actually attended as an exhibitor rather than a spectator, fun but also exhausting!

Boots didn’t make the cut in Breed but showed the best she ever has and took a placement in a lovely, large Maturity class.

The real thrill was watching 10 year old GCH Cadillac Gin and Juice float around the ring like a youngster. His last trip around the ring was in 2017, but he never missed a beat. I love this guy!

And finally, thank you to Paula Vester for stepping in at the last minute to handle after I aggregated and old knee injury!

Juice climbed down off the couch and make the trip to the DPCA National in Kingsport, TN to strut his stuff in the Veterans ring at 10 years of age. Pictured with his nephew, GCH Nomad’s 24K Magic, “Bruno”, who won the 7-9 regional Veterans class.

Thank you to judge Mrs. Beverly Anderson for giving Miss Boots the nod for Winners Saturday at the Bell County Kennel Club show in Belton. I’m loving what some maturity is doing for her! Two singles to the finish line for this sweet girl.

I’ve been remiss in updates with Baby Boots working on growing up, and me being busy with the non-dog related day job!

Boots is now in the middle of her march towards her CH after picking up a 5 point major last week at the Oklahoma Summer Classic under judge Kay Watts. With Ann Ramsbottom White at the helm, she is finally starting to put it all together and I am looking forward to watching this team evolve through San Antonio and Houston!

In an effort to be young and hip, I tried my hand at TikTok to commemorate the occasion!

Boots is Nomad’s Gypsy Boots, bred by great friend Paula Vester of Nomad Doberman Pinschers.

Boots and I getting some show dog practice in during the 2022 DPCA National in Topeka. I’m rusty when it comes to handling and she’s just learning at 4.5 months old. We will get better with practice!
