Do you breed dogs? We recommend all breeding dogs get OFA / CHIC certified prior to breeding. This helps to ensure and promote responsible breeding and helps contribute to overall improvements in dog health. There are different requirements and recommendations for each breed. We have a heart and eye clinic coming to Traverse City for one day and it is by appointment only. There are 2 more days until the registration deadline. Sign your dog up today! We have very limited to no availability next week for appointments. We understand that your beloved pets get sick or hurt unexpectedly. Please feel welcome to call in the case that we have a cancellation. Meet Jasper! He’s a big cuddly, loving, lap kitty! Jasper really needs an indoor home. He loves to play with toys and with other cats. He gets a bit nervous around dogs but warms up to them quickly. He loves all people and makes fast friends!

Jasper was found as a stray 1.5 months ago and had a horribly infected wound on his shoulder. He had the wound surgically repaired and was neutered at the same time. Jasper is estimated to be about 1 year old. We did discover that he is FIV positive. FIV only affects cats and is not easily spread by cats, but can be transmitted by deep bite wounds. He takes an inexpensive antioxidant supplement everyday to help boost his immune system. He is such a wonderful cat and would love to make your house home!!! Exciting Announcement

With the new year in full swing, we want to extend our gratitude & appreciation to all of our clients & their beloved pets. We truly could not do what we do daily without your support. 2024 was a wonderful year & we expect 2025 to be just as great! We have added a couple of new faces last year & will be adding another one come April 2025, Dr. Morgan Bailey.

We are so excited for Dr. Bailey's upcoming full time doctor position as it will potentially allow us to open up to new clients & have better scheduling availability. Dr. Morgan Bailey may be a familiar face as she started here as an assistant in 2019. She is a northern Michigan native and is excited to be back in the area. She enjoys spending time with her fiancé, family, cats, dog, and horse. She competes in the AQHA circuit with her horse and the AKC circuit with her dog. Dr. Morgan Bailey has a special interest in surgery and sports medicine. She is “Fear Free” certified, meaning she can help to alleviate some of your pet’s fear, anxiety, and stress associated with coming to the vets office. She will be working alongside Dr. Chris, Dr. Lisa and Dr. Jeff to provide the best care possible to your 4 legged companions. Dr. Morgan Bailey will be providing examinations, surgery, vaccinations, and medications to her patients. She will also be providing ultrasonography!

We are so excited to be a part of Dr. Bailey's new journey as a veterinarian & we cannot wait to share her knowledge with you all.

We have a really nice grey on grey tabby cat with the prettiest green eyes here that desperately needs a home. Good with dogs & other cats. He is a male and is about 3 years old. River is a really nice cat and deserves more than to sit in one of our kennels all day. Please call us if you are interested in meeting or potentially adopting River. He was a stray.
