🚨 Pet Safety Alert 🚨

As the weather continues to heat up, remember: NEVER leave your pets in a parked car! Even with cracked windows, temperatures can soar to deadly levels within minutes. Your furry friends can suffer from heatstroke, brain damage, or worse.

👉 Facts to remember:

• On a 75°F day, a car's temperature can reach 100°F in just 10 minutes.
• On a 90°F day, it can hit 160°F in less than 10 minutes.

🐾 What to do:

• Leave pets at home if you can't take them with you.
• If you see a pet in distress in a hot car, call local authorities immediately.
• Spread the word to friends and family – let's keep our pets safe!
• Stay vigilant, stay cool, and keep your pets cool too!

As temperatures continue to rise, don't forget to take extra precautions to ensure the safety and well-being of your pets.

Hot weather can pose big risks, especially due to the heat radiating from the ground, which can burn your pet's paws. To protect your pets, check the ground temperature before walks by placing the back of your hand on it for 5-10 seconds; if it's too hot for your hand, it's too hot for their paws.

Walk pets early in the morning or late in the evening when temperatures are cooler, and always ensure they have access to fresh, cool water. Provide shade if they spend time outdoors and limit exercise to avoid overexertion.

Look for signs of overheating, such as excessive panting or drooling, and never leave pets in cars, as temperatures inside can soar rapidly. Protective gear like pet booties and cooling vests can also help.

Our pets rely on us to keep them safe, and by taking these precautions, we can ensure they stay healthy and comfortable during the hot weather.🥰

My puppy package: Only good for puppies from 8 weeks old up to 6 months old, and includes everything listed within the bath package. I am offering this package to help encourage healthy grooming habits and to promote a healthy relationship between dog and groomer.

Sophie’s first haircut at 8 months old. Sophie’s mom utilized my puppy package deal. It always makes full grooming transitions so much easier for dogs if they have been introduced to the basic process. This also guarantees your dog will not have to be shaved for his or her first haircut because the coat has been managed properly.

PSA: I am able to see who has confirmed their appointments and who hasn’t. My automated system will continue to send notifications until you confirm. If the day of your appointment has arrived and you still haven’t confirmed, I will send a text personally to see if you’re still able to make your appointment.

Secondly, if you HAVE confirmed your appointment and you simply don’t show up without a call or text you will be charged the cancellation fee and an invoice will be sent via email and text. This will need to be paid within 2 weeks or your next grooming appointment (if you have one), will be canceled. This will also need to be paid if you wish to book another appointment and I will ask for a card to be kept on file.

I am a pretty understanding person and I just ask that I be kept informed of schedule changes regardless of the reason. I respect your time and I just ask that my time be respected as well. Thank you so much for your understanding and your continued support.

I’ve added a new feature to my online booking!

I have a waitlist, which means when I get a cancellation you will be the first to know! Once you receive a text message informing you of this opening you then have 30 minutes to respond before I move on to the next person. If I don’t get any takers I will then post the cancellation publicly on my Facebook and instagram accounts.

Buddy has been with our family for 8 months. He came to us weighing 52lbs which is significantly under weight for a full grown male Rough Coat Collie. He is now a whopping 75lbs and his coat has became full and luscious! I thought I got lucky at first when his coat was thin, NOT! He is groomed every 6 weeks and it is calendared in my phone so I stay on top of it. He is definitely my highest maintenance k9 when it comes to coat car. 😅 Not a dog I would have chosen for myself but he has been a delight to get to know and is the sweetest boy!
