Coffee Ripple Farm Currently breeding our favorite rare and unusual poultry breeds with a focus on waterfowl.

We usually have Welsh Harlequin and Ancona ducks and buff dewlap toulouse Geese. We also keep white chinese Geese and Muscovy ducks though they are not rare.

We at Coffee Ripple Farm want to express our appreciation to Old Doninion Poultry Association for hosting the Spring Fling. While appreciating poultry and striving to breed quality birds is nothing new to Coffee Ripple Farm showing poultry is. This was only our second show and we are elated with how well our birds showed.
Also thank you to the Society for the Preservation of Poultry Antiquities for education on and preserving old and rare breed poultry.

We were pleased to bring this beautiful pair home. Fingers crossed for mandarin ducklings later this year.

Finally found the nest of Royal Palm turkey eggs. We have a few poults that have hatched with more hatching in the weeks ahead. I have really enjoyed turkeys so much more than I would have expected. They are curious, friendly and affectionate.

This fierce momma Muscovy has successfully hatched out 21 ducklings. She has been parading them all over the property.

Kidding season is off to a great start. So proud of how well our ladies care for their kids and thankful that most have had very easy kiddings.

The Ancona ducks have been going strong for about 2 months. We have lots of Ancona duckling to choose from.

It’s always awesome to see and hear how much our animals are enjoyed and how beautiful they grow up to be. Today Kelly and her daughter Emilyn shared this picture with me. Emilyn bought a duckling from us this spring. She and Josie the welsh harlequin entered the Fredericksburg agricultural fair. They received a first place ribbon. They look awesome together, don’t you think.
