Hello Friends!
Super, super excited to announce that fun is coming back to the play yards of Paws in Motion! Dawn and Greg Veale, along with their furry family member, Brie, will be re-opening as On Cloud 9 Pet Boarding & Daycare on November 16.

Dave and Jess are thrilled for the Veales and all of the pups of King George. We are excited to watch their business come alive with new owners, fresh energy and ideas. Best of luck to Dawn and Greg as they begin this fun adventure!

Hello Friends!
Hope everyone is having a happy summer! We miss you all so much! We will be holding a yard sale this coming weekend, on Saturday August 5 (8:00 am-noon) with a portion of the proceeds benefiting The King George Animal Rescue League. We have all kinds of good stuff...toys, leashes, collars, crates, office supplies, party supplies and of course an array of random household treasures! Come by to check it out or to just say hi! As our final day comes to a close, Dave and Jess want to thank our amazing team for making our dreams a reality. These are the people that made the magic happen each day at Paws in Motion. They know that our superstitious side never allowed us to comment on their stellar safety record but with a few hours left to go we are going to do it! We are closing on this final day with a safety record that we only dreamed about. It takes a tremendous amount of skill, effort and care to have safe off-leash play and this team delivered day after day. Their efforts earned Dave and Jess the honor of speaking at a National Pet Care Convention last year about the techniques and training the staff utilized in our yards. In 2016, they won a national competition against other daycares across the country in 3 skills sets that are critical for safety success. They did it all while ensuring the dogs were having a great time! An amazing accomplishment! Many, many thanks to our team for making Paws the special place it was. Thank you all for your dedication...even til the final day. We love you guys!

The pups made the best out of their last day at Paws today. Once again Luke showed us his diverse play style and played with nearly all of the small dogs, while Pippi came to play with her friends one last time. Whether it was getting cuddles from the staff, splashing in the pool, racing around in the back, or romping with their favorite friends everyone had a blast!

So much cuteness today!! Our favorite little group of Chihuahuas were here and we loved watching them dance around together. Rosie found the perfect play partner in Bentley and Jett was thrilled to meet Nala! We sure are going to miss all of these pups.

Paws in Motion will be closing on April 21, 2017. Our pet care center was an incredibly healthy and thriving business with an amazing team of people. The only reason for our closure was the unreasonable demands placed on our small business expansion by the King George County Government, specifically the Department of Community Development. In addition, we received absolutely no support from the County Administrator’s Office. We invested many years and tens of thousands of dollars into this effort only to be disappointed time and time again.

Dave, Jess and the team enjoyed caring for the many pets of King George over the past eight years. We absolutely adored the huge community that connected here at our little place! Best wishes to all of our friends, human and canine.

Levi and Luke hit it off today, while Chloe and her best friend Maximus were happy to see each other! Emma joined in on the fun with Odin and Kimbo, and Mugsy kept the beagles entertained!

Wow look at those puppies run! Emma and Luke had a great time chasing each other around the yard. Buddy, Gerri Lee, and Penny were having a blast running around the play set! Then after a long hard play time Gerri took a relaxing nap!

Happy Monday!! No one could resist Koda’s charm today, he wore all of his friends out! Jasmine came in this morning ready to play, Smoke showed us that he could still keep up with the young dogs, at least for a few minutes. What a beautiful and fun day!!
