One of the amazing places, Valley view Ranch Equine rescue’s horses go for training. Come meet the students and the staff of this amazing ranch.

Wonder Wood Ranch invites the community to its upcoming “Teach and Tails” Open House, a special event showcasing the meaningful partnership between Central Coast College’s Veterinary Assistant Program and the ranch’s mission to bring hope, healing, and restoration through the power of rescued animals. Guests will have the opportunity to meet the vet assistant students, tour the ranch, and witness first hand how education and compassion come together to serve both people and animals in need.
At Wonder Wood Ranch, students from Central Coast College gain valuable hands-on experience while caring for horses, goats, pigs, and other rescue animals that are part of the ranch’s therapeutic outreach programs. As these future vet assistants learn and grow, they also help Wonder Wood Ranch continue to be a place where at-risk youth, struggling families, and those facing tough times can find encouragement and healing. Donors and supporters are encouraged to attend and see how investing in this partnership directly impacts lives—both two- and four-legged.
The event will feature:
A student-led presentation on species-specific care and rehabilitation
A guided mini tour of Wonder Wood Ranch facilities
A horse training demonstration by ranch staff, showcasing rescue equines in action

I’m headed back to drop off another load of supplies for the Texas panhandle fire victims. If you would like to donate towards this project. I am currently helping fleet of angels and equine wellbeing rescue (Arizona) so you can donate to either org to help us get much needed supplies to them.

Also. If you would like to send a message to the group of guys working day and night to get those supplies out to where it needs to go. Just comment on this post and I will cut and paste to a text for them to see.

Our special little mini has been a resident therapy mini for wonderwood ranch for a few years now. We sent him there to help children that were intimidated by bigger horses. He loves doing his “ job”.
