What is your time worth?

When I started Honey Dos, I did so out of desperation. I was absolutely drained emotionally and physically from the work I was doing. I was working so much and felt like I was home so little. I couldn’t keep up. My kids cried when I’d leave for work… again. On the weekends I was home, I was rage cleaning. Trying to keep up. I didn’t envision cleaning. I applied for jobs for weeks. No interviews. I was either under qualified, or I was told by other vet clinics that my skill set deserved more than they would be willing to pay in a salary. I was stuck.

But then I saw it. The Facebook posts. Moms just begging for help. Looking for a cleaner. “I just need some help” or “I can’t keep up” or even “I don’t know how.” I thought if nothing else, I could buy some time. I could spend some much needed time with my family. I could give other moms time with their families. So I took a leap of faith.

Two and a half years later, my goal hasn’t changed. Our ideal client is me, three years ago. Parents and grandparents who just need some help. PEOPLE who have lost time watching their children grow up, because the dishes need done and the floors need mopped. Life goes on, and the chores never stop. We currently employee 5 cleaners and 1 office staff. 5 of whom are parents, 1 who hopes to be one day.

Not everybody has a village, but we will be your village.

So again, I ask.
