“Earl” is a sweet, in your pocket, typical bay gelding type coming 4 y/o. Very kind, and a big goofball!

He was started at 2 and has been on the back burner since due to no fault of his own. He is coming back into work after having the past few months off and due to life changes his owner just does not have time for a young horse. He is broke and backed but is still learning the basics, does w/t/c under saddle, has been in long lines, trail ridden, has been ponied and does it all with no issues.

He was hauled out to shows his 2 and 3 y/o year, shown in hand as a 2 and ridden around as a 3. Settles easily off property and has a good head on his shoulders he just needs consistency! If you are looking for a project to bring along he’d be great! Shows promise as a ranch horse, trail horse, or even a potential dressage horse either western or classical.

His owner has had him since he was a weanling and did TONS of desensitizing, exposing, and handling with him as he grew so he’s very quiet and easy to handle. This being said we will be picky on where he goes as he is very loved, he just deserves to be somewhere he can get the time he needs as a young green horse.

Loads and hauls like a dream, cross ties, hard ties, bathes, stands for vet and farrier, and has been clipped but he needs more work with the clippers. He loves to play and roughhouse in the pasture but has never been mean, just a playful baby.

We recommend he go into a training program or to someone with the knowledge to take on a green youngster! I do not have under saddle
video at this time.

In this weather it’s so difficult to find things to be thankful for sometimes… however… some things i am thankful for in this NASTY heat are:

-our auto waterers, for human convenience AND horse. Our horses have access to cold fresh water anytime they need a drink!

-We have an excellent set up allowing us to hang fans to keep our horses as comfortable as possible when they are inside during the day.

-The ability to do night turn out to keep our horses out of the sun and away from horse flies

-A great group of people who show up for their animals!

-and most importantly excellent help! we appreciate our workers so much for braving this heat and toughing it out with us to ensure the health, safety, and happiness of all of the horses in our care 🫶🏻

-daily turn out with round bales
-horses grained twice daily with a feed program customized to their needs
-ample high quality hay when stalled
-fly spray, masks, sheets used for turn out if provided
-blanket changes in cold months
-vet/farrier holding services provided
-trainer on site
-spacious individual tack lockers
-beautiful climate controlled observation room with a bathroom
