Team Ace's Retrievers We specialize in British/Irish Labradors puppies, started retrievers, and finished retrievers. We specialize in a multitude of options to help best serve you.

At Ace's Retrievers, we specialize in producing the best retrievers available for both in the field, and/or in the home. Colors available are black, yellow, and fox red. Our main focus is trying to match the correct dog with each client. We have been in business almost 20 years, and have grown consistently throughout this time to become one of the largest and most respected kennels in the Americas

. We are the nation's largest started retriever kennel, if not the world's. We offer puppies, started puppies, started retrievers (waterfowl, upland, blood-trail, shed hunting, and companion purposed), finished retrievers, import services, retriever training, large breed obedience training, other specialized training, and large breed boarding. We do our best to be open for communication and quick to respond. Our team is separated into a sales/advertising/information management specialist combined with on-the-ground trainers, and support staff. We wanted to share an incredible update we received from Teal’s owner.

Because his condition had not improved following a motorcycle accident several years ago, he has worked extensively with Teal to make her primarily a service dog. He taught her to pick up his phone and other things he drops because he has no feeling in his right hand.

Earlier this year, he was involved in a serious Side by Side accident. He, a friend, and Teal went over a 200-foot bank. Tragically, his friend did not survive the accident.

When they finally came to rest, he was blind and didn't know if his friend or Teal were alive. He kept telling Teal to get his phone until he eventually passed out.

When he came to, the phone was in his hand.

He still didn't know where Teal was. He was able to use Siri to call his wife and send her his location.

When first responders arrived, Teal was sitting right beside him.

He was life-flighted to the hospital, while his daughter took Teal home. Teal had a limp from the accident, but thankfully she was doing fine the next day.

He spent two weeks in the hospital, and they even allowed Teal to stay with him.

His words to us were simple:

“Without her, I would have bled to death.”

That is something we will never forget.

We train dogs to retrieve, to listen, to work, and to become reliable partners. But sometimes, their training becomes about something much bigger than a retrieve.

Sometimes, it can mean the difference between life and death.

We are incredibly proud of Teal and grateful that her owner took the time to share this story with us.
