Fun categories, training demos, vendors, Barbara’s Hot Dogs, and adoptable animals from Northern Neck Partners for Pets — all to benefit the Animal Welfare League! ❤️

Bring your pup and join the fun! 🐶✨

The Classie Memorial Dog Show will be at Town Centre Park Saturday, October 4th starting at 2:00 PM! Lots of categories to appear and win in! $3 entry fee per judging category with all proceeds going to the Animal Welfare League here in Kilmarnock. We're also excited to bring some amazing demonstrations to the stage, fun vendors, and yummy hot dogs from Barbara's Hot Dogs!

Happy weekend from Kaius! This ever so handsome fellow is a favorite of many volunteers and staff. Looks only go so far but Kaius has it all. He so enjoys a connection with a human and one on one time. Kaius has good eye contact down pat and has a very engaging gaze. He is extrememely interested in what the human he is with is doing and is delighted by a leash walk. Kaius wants to please his people and listens well. His posture when he sits would do all our parents proud! This fabulous boy is not quite two years old and 58 loving pounds. He has been neutered through the generosity of Animal Welfare League of the Northern Neck Thank you, A.W.L! Kaius has gone to several events with some of our wonderful volunteers and has enjoyed the time away from the shelter. Kaius' brothers, Kenan and Kellen have been adopted and now it is Kaius' turn to have a human fall in love!

HAPPY UPDATE: INDIE HAS BEEN ADOPTED! MANY THANKS TO THE ADOPTERS. WE ARE SO VERY HAPPY FOR INDIE (AND HER CANINE BROTHER RANGER, WHO THEY ALSO ADOPTED!) WISHING YOU MUCH JOY WITH YOUR NEW COMPANIONS!
Indie is just hanging out waiting for her human lovematch! Indie is a sweetheart. ( thank you, Stacy, for all the wonderful kitty photos! ) Indie is affectionate and loves being petted. She is just 5 months old. Indie has already been spayed through the generosity of Animal Welfare League of the Northern Neck Thank you A.W.L! Allie's siblings, Mischief and Twinkle, pulled some heartstrings and have been adopted and Indie is trying to turn up her charm quotient! Indie's beautiful mom, Allie is also at our shelter. They are being lovingly cared for everyday but it's not quite the same as being in a home and lavished with attention. We are happy to answer any questions about Indie!

This stunning girl is 4 year old Ariel. She came surrendered to us with some pretty severe skin allergies. Some of it may have been stress, some may have been food reactions. But the transformation and progress she has made with us at Northern Neck Partners for Pets is wonderful. She has regained her fur and is starting to show a healthy shine. Ariel lived with four kids in her previous home and lights up when they visit our shelter. She enjoys going on walks and is extremely affectionate with people. If you would like to meet this beauty, please come visit her between 11 and 3 pm at 790 Devil's Bottom Road in Lancaster, Virginia.
