Miss Precious is looking for a place to call home! She was surrendered to us due to no fault of her own! We do recommend she goes to an only cat home as she is very anxious around other animals. 🇺🇸The 4th of July is the busiest day of the year for lost pets . Animal shelters nationwide experience a 30% to 60% increase in lost pet intakes between July 4th and July 6th. 🇺🇸

Here are a few tips to keep your pet safe during the holiday weekend:
🎆Ensure your pet has a collar with up to date identification tags on
🎆Buffer the noise of the fireworks with TV, music, or fan
🎆Keep them indoors during the fireworks
🎆Contact your vet to see about calming medication prior to the holiday.

We are excited to welcome Dr. Amanda Burns to the Mountainview Veterinary Services team! Dr. Burns recently graduated from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine, and she just started yesterday as a mixed animal doctor!🎉🎊

Her interests include small animal dermatology (skin and ear cases) and orthopedic surgery. On the large animal side, she is passionate about horses, including wellness, geriatric care, lameness, and sports medicine!🐴

She enjoys helping on her family's dairy farm and spending time with her 2 dogs, Bo and Zero. She plans to see small animal and large animal patients. Yesterday was her first day with us! 🫶
