🐾 MEET PENNY LANE — ROATAN LOCAL ADOPTION NEEDED! 🐾

Sometimes a kitty comes into our care who, for one reason or another, flying is not a good fit. ❤️ That means we need the help of our amazing Roatan community to find this little one a forever home right here on the island! 🏝️🐱

Sweet Penny Lane is approximately 1–2 years old and fully vetted. She has already raised her litter of six kittens, and now it’s her turn to be spoiled! No more babies for this mama — she deserves a loving home, a safe place to relax, and a family all her own. 🥰

Penny is not currently a big fan of other cats or dogs, although a careful introduction may be worth trying. We’re not sure whether she was simply being protective of her kittens. She may thrive best as the only pet, where she can enjoy all the love and attention for herself. ❤️

🚨🐾 DOUBLE ADOPTION ALERT! 🐾🚨

Well… Chispa & Galleta barely had time to unpack their bags! 😂🧳🐱

Our adorable sibling pair made their way from Roatán to Kitten Angels in New York, and apparently they were just TOO CUTE to stay available for long!

❤️ ADOPTED TOGETHER! ❤️

That’s right — Chispa & Galleta found a PUUURFECT family who took one look at this dynamic duo and said, “We’ll take BOTH!” 😻😻

Because really… what goes better with a little Chispa (spark) than a Galleta (cookie)? ⚡🍪😂

These two have been side-by-side since the beginning, and now they get to stay that way FOREVER. 🥹❤️

✈️🐾 Smooth flying yesterday for Julianne — with Bennie & Kahn Florida bound! 🌴➡️🇺🇸

And this one has such a fun little Flight Angels twist! ❤️

Remember Maxine, our Flight Angel who became a Flight Angel fail when she fell in love with TWO island kittens? 😹 Well… apparently loving island kittens runs in the family!

Maxine’s son decided his family needed a pair of island babies of their very own, so Bennie & Kahn are officially DIRECT ADOPTIONS! 🥹🐾 Maxine has happily taken on the role of Grandma/Foster Mom until these two can make the final leg of their journey to their forever home in Northern Florida.

Bennie & Kahn are the remaining littermates of the two babies who flew out Saturday. That means ALL FOUR of these precious bottle babies are direct adoptions! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

And we have to give a HUGE shoutout to Beth, who poured her heart and soul into raising this litter. Weeks of interrupted sleep, endless bottles, and so much love went into getting these babies from tiny bottle babies to the beautiful, healthy kittens they are today. 🍼🐱❤️ Seeing all four go directly into loving families makes those sleepless nights a little sweeter!

A huge THANK YOU to Julianne, our Flight Angel, for getting Bennie & Kahn safely to Florida; Andrea for facilitating their flight.

And Maxine… thank you for loving our island kittens SO much that you’ve apparently gotten the whole family hooked! 😂❤️ON TOP of all this family affair sister Lauren drove from Orlando to Miami JUST to pick up these babies for her brother!!

Now Bennie & Kahn get to enjoy a little time being spoiled by Grandma Maxine before heading north to join their very own family and start the next chapter of their lives. 🏡🐾

Four tiny bottle babies. Four direct adoptions. Four happily-ever-afters. 🥹❤️

✈️🐾 TODAY’S FREEDOM FLIGHT IS A SPECIAL ONE! 🐾✈️

Our Flight Angel Maggie has some VERY precious cargo today… and one of those babies is coming home with HER! 🥹❤️

Sweet little Ariel is officially Maggie’s baby! 🏡💕 But Maggie couldn’t leave Ariel’s sibling Mac behind — so Mac is flying along too, because one of Maggie’s friends is adopting HIM!

Yep… these two bottle babies are taking their big freedom flight together and BOTH are landing in forever homes! 🎉🐱🐱✈️

From tiny bottle babies to loved, spoiled family members — THIS is why we do what we do! ❤️

A huge, HUGE thank you to Beth, who raised these babies from the bottle and poured so much love into every feeding, every cuddle and every little milestone. 🍼💕 We know watching them leave is incredibly bittersweet. You did your job, foster mama — you got them here. Now it’s their turn to be loved forever. 🥹❤️

And a big thank you to Liza for facilitating today’s airport run and getting this little crew where they needed to be! 🚗✈️🐾

🇺🇸✈️🐾 BOOTS HAS ENTERED THE USA!!! 🐾✈️🇺🇸

Because apparently getting a Roatan rescue cat off the island can’t EVER just be easy… 😂🤦‍♀️

Today we had an ISLAND-WIDE POWER OUTAGE… and just for a little extra excitement, the BACKUP GENERATOR WAS OUT TOO! 😳🤣

Our Flight Angel Andrea got the FULL Roatan experience today — no tourist version for her! 😂🌴

BUT… BOOTS MADE HIS FLIGHT!!! 🙌✈️🐶

And we just got the update we were waiting for…

Our little island boy is officially on American soil, doing GREAT, and one big step closer to HOME! ❤️

Since it was a late-night landing and there’s still a two-hour drive to Kentucky, Boots is having a little SLEEPOVER tonight! 🥹🐾 Tomorrow he finishes his journey to his MOMMA!

And here’s the part we LOVE… ❤️

His momma is actually the woman who FOUND BOOTS ON ROATAN! She found him, fell in love with him, and now this sweet boy is making his way all the way from the island to Indiana to be HER cat! 😭❤️

Talk about a full-circle rescue story!

It took a whole village to pull today off…

🚗 Winnie — for tackling the airport run during today’s island CHAOS!

✈️ And our Flight Angel Andrea — who survived her crash course in “Welcome to Roatan!” 😂 and got our boy safely to the USA!

✈️🐾 FREEDOM FLIGHT ALERT! 🐾✈️

Yesterday was Tora’s big day! Our absolutely gorgeous dilute tortie packed her bags and took to the skies with one of our amazing repeat Flight Angels, Gretchen! 💕✈️

Tora is headed to Sydney's Sanctuary and Cat Lounge in Austin, where she’ll be loved and cared for while she waits for the family lucky enough to call this beautiful girl their own. 🏡🐱

A HUGE thank you to Gretchen for once again helping one of our island babies get to their next chapter, to our wonderful rescue partner Sydney’s Cat Lounge for welcoming Tora, and to her incredible foster momma Andrea for loving and caring for her until it was time to fly. ❤️

It truly takes a village to get these babies from the island to forever homes—and yesterday, Tora’s village made it happen! 🥹🌴➡️✈️➡️🏡

🎉🐾 ADOPTION ALERT: MOMMA BONES HAS LEFT THE BUILDING! 🐾🎉

After raising her LAST litter of kittens, Momma Bones has officially hung up her mom hat and said…

“I raised the babies. Now where’s MY family?!” 😂❤️

Well, Momma… YOU GOT ONE!! 🏡🎉

No more kittens climbing all over her. No more mom duties. From here on out, it’s naps, snacks, cuddles, and being completely spoiled by a family of her very own! 👑🐱

🚨🖤 ADOPTION ALERT — AND THIS ONE IS EXTRA SPECIAL!! 🖤🚨

Okay, we are SOOOOO excSydney's Sanctuary and Cat Lounger amazing friend Quin, owner of Sydney’s Sanctuary and Cat Lounge, has officially fallen under the spell of one of our very own island babies! 🏝️🐈‍⬛

Meet MIDNIGHT — professional heart-stealer. 🖤

It didn’t take long. Midnight worked his island-cat magic on Quin almost immediately…and apparently there was NO turning back! 😂 One look, a little charm, probably a few perfectly timed purrs…and BOOM — ADOPTED! 🎉

When I tell you there is something different about these island cats, I am not exaggerating! There’s just a little something extra in them — a little extra personality, a little extra love, and apparently a whole lot of magic. ✨🏝️🐾

Midnight, you picked yourself a pretty incredible human.

Brother-and-sister duo Dallas & Austin are the LUCKY island babies who got their FREEDOM FLIGHT today! ✈️🐾💙

Our amazing Flight Angel, Dayle, and her family are on their way to Seattle with these babies, where Sunny Sky's Animal Rescue will welcome them and help them find their forever families! 🏡❤️

Our Flight Angels truly are the key to giving our island babies a chance at the lives they deserve. We are incredibly thankful for every person who steps up to become such an important part of their journey. ✈️🐱

A huge THANK YOU to Karen and Natalie for fostering Dallas & Austin and getting these beautiful babies ready for their big day! 💕🐾
