Friends of the Animals The mission of our group is to help people keep their animals when an emergency arises by helping with emergency vet bills.

The group is 100% donation reliant, and as such, must limit the mission to only assist with emergency vet bills We are a group of about 10 people at the present time that have a couple of fundraisers a year to help people with their Vet Bills and we also try to donate to other animal organizations. We have been together 12 years and have helped out over 200 families to keep from putting down their animals due to not having the funds to get them the help they needed for medication, or treatment.

Skip the table scraps 🦃 🙏

Thanksgiving is almost here, and we know how tempting it can be to share a little bit of your big holiday meal with your pets. 🩵 But not all the foods we enjoy are safe for them.

Some of our favorite Thanksgiving staples can make animals very sick so please help keep your furry family members safe by sticking to pet approved treats only. 🥕

What sweet Stacee pictured here would really love for the holiday is a home of her very own. 🙏 She does not need leftovers she just wants a cozy bed some love and maybe a bone or two. ❤️‍🩹 Stacee is three years old, and she would be so thankful to spend the season with a family who cares about her.

The shelter will be closed on Thursday November 27 for Thanksgiving and will reopen Friday at 11 am for our Black Furrday event! 🖤
