I have always done my own grooming, but I decided that after two litters of beautiful puppies and their “retirements” in 2025, Dutch snd Sadie deserved (and my back appreciated) a spa day with a professional groomer for the first time. They did great and enjoyed their pup cups afterwards. Davis & Maggie received baths at home as well, so today is a great day to visit. 😁. I envy those who get such nice, posed pictures of their Berners who sit calmly for the camera. 🙂

And, then there were none. 🥹. It’s always tough when it gets quiet (Well, that’s always relative with Davis around. 😁), and all the puppies are gone. For me, there is real joy and responsibility in trying to provide a special pup to a family, and a special family for the pup. Nola (Mary Ann) had the tough start of the broken leg and cast, and then an umbilical hernia that popped out while the cast was on - which was repaired last week. She has not missed a beat in her recovery, and is a confident, healthy, outgoing pup. I am so thankful that the very day I put them on Facebook as available, Parker Spees contacted me to tell me they were ready for another pup. Their Ruby came from Reagan & Annie’s Golden Girls litter in 2017. Cancer took her from them way too early in 2025. For a pup that has spent much of her early life healing, how appropriate that she is going to help the Spees family heal from the loss of their sweet Ruby. They will absolutely spoil Reagan & Annie’s great-granddaughter rotten as they did their daughter, and she is going to bring so much joy to their home.

Adrian - now Millie - named because she was Rocky’s best friend in the days of his struggles - turned out to be the biggest pup (14.5 lbs at 8 weeks) and the last to find her home. But, she is so blessed to be making her home in Hendersonville, TN with Jesse, Kayleigh, and Layla Richards. She is their first Berner that they have been seeking for quite some time with a chocolate lab brother. The Richards loved the chaos of meeting Davis and all my adults, so I know she is going to have a ton of fun in her forever home!

I fell behind in my posts this past weekend. This little guy had the litter named after him - Rocky - because he was the undersized runt who kept getting up off the mat. It was literally round the clock care for about 4 days to get him over the hump. I told him then that he had blessings to share with some family. That family is the Stone family from Lafayette, KY. He was probably the most content, calmest puppy I have ever had. His eyes just absolutely melted into my heart. Looks like he might become a YouTube star on their Sage and Stone Homestead channel. He is ready for lots of love and energy with this sweet family. Go be a blessing, Nugget!

Berners love the snow and cold weather. Eden (Milla) is going to live a doubly happy life. I delivered her to Erie, PA so she can go even further north to make her home in Canton, NY with her new parents Lisa & Brian Thompson. So thankful that these repeat Berner owners chose to give this sweet girl a wonderful life!

Just chillin’ after some hard play time in the snow. (Sorry, no snow pics). All pups have homes, and three will meet their families this weekend!

Got some snow time in before it gets taller than their heads (and before the UK game started 😁)!

At 13.1 lbs, the fluffball Louie (Apollo) is the first blessed pup from the Rocky IV litter to go to his forever home in Germantown, TN. We are so thankful for Lisa Mayo and her family who are providing a wonderful loving environment for this calm little velcro pup to love them and lay at their feet!
