Ms. Elhew Big Cabin wins the derby stake at the Fleetwood Open Shooting Dog Championship. Congratulations to Ryan Eichelberger and peanut on the win. She’s just 11 months old and was whelped here at Four Rivers Kennels. Amarugia Elhew Heir Strike x Four Rivers Fantasy. Strike is owned by Rich Meadows.

Going thru an old dresser and found a few gems dating back a few years when CH Four Rivers Crusader qualified and was invited to the 2016 Shooting Dog Invitational Championship. This trial was a blast to attend and so very well organized. Rhett Kermicle and I rode to the trial together as he had a tremendous influence on Crusader’s development prior to being under the whistle of Shawn Kinkelaar. Also in the dresser was a ribbon from Bill Holtan’s trial Dakota Saskatchewan Shooting Dog Championship in Crusaders derby season. The book was one of many gifts handed to the owners of the participants.
