Our sweet Apple is also home. She was such a sweet girl 💕 we miss her sweet grunts talking to us but know she is free from pain and enjoying her friends who have crossed before her. I hope you’re there with Kathy Emmett and Glitzy! This is the hardest part of rescue!! We cared and loved 💕 them when nobody else does. Everyone we loose one a piece of our heart 💔 goes with them and we wonder how we can do this again? But somehow we continue to move forward.

Cupcake is finally home. Cupcake didn’t deserve or ask to be abused by people. She disliked people but we hope she knows we cared and loved her despite this. We hope her death wasn’t in vein and things are learned so this will not happen again. RIP and hope you’re at peace and no longer afraid over the rainbow 🌈 enjoying piggy friends and grazing the green grass.

We want to thank everyone for their outpouring support and kind words during this difficult time as we’d navigate what went wrong with Cupcakes case to prevent this from happening to other pigs. Cupcake will be cremated then come home.

RIP I’m so sorry we tried to help you we were unable to. Cupcake you did not deserve this. People failed you before you came. We tried what was reasonable to save in the end it wasn’t enough. Prayers appreciated we have lost 2 pigs and have at least 4k in vet bills to cover. We are heartbroken 💔. And this makes it hard to continue rescue with so little support. Cupcake you can be in peace where nobody will hurt you again and you no longer need to be afraid. 💔

Prayers 🙏 for Cupcake please as she goes under anesthesia, testing and surgery this morning. We are hoping to find a cause for her prolapse and that this is a permanent fix for. Would would like cupcake to live a long happy life. Her beginning to life has been anything but happy and kind. Abandoned and abused until we rescued her. She is so untrusting of people and to then undergo people handling her now several times in a week has not made her happy. Any help for her large vets bill would be appreciated more than anyone knows. It seems fundraising and donations are greatly down. Any amount helps if all our followers donated $2 we would have both her bills covered so no amount it’s too small. Her new bill is up to minimum 2500.

🆘 Emergency ‼️ funds needed. Cupcake pr*****ed again and we have had to take her to University of Georgia. Our vet bill for her taken twice and Apple was $1100. Now this will be additional we received about $200 towards her previous bill. The new estimate currently without extensive surgery is $1500. We try not to ask for a lot but could use your help. Any help appreciated . Even fundraiser ideas appreciated.

Sweet Apple you were such a lover despite being locked away in a box stall for 5 years. You love laying in the sun, belly rubs nuzzling us with your snout and tasting our shoes. We helped you cross over the rainbow 🌈 bridge knowing it was time to let you go. I hope Kathy Emmett met you at the gates she worked hard to get you out of that barn locked away. Hopefully You, Kathy and Glitzy will live it up. Kathy Emmett sponsored Apple after her rescue up until her passing during Covid. Rest in peace Apple.

It’s been a rough week. Cupcake had to go back to the vet Adding to her current vet bill. She is a very unhappy girl. Given her abusive past she doesn’t trust and now being taken to the vet to have procedures done to her twice in less than a week has made her very cranky. Say a prayer for her if this doesn’t work then we need to take her to a University. If you would like to contribute towards her vet bills anything is appreciated.

We had an emergency 🆘 last night with cupcake. She had a prolapse and had to be rushed to the vet for emergency care. This is an unexpected expense and would love any help you can. Cupcake will need a special diet for at least the next month, she needs to be kept in a quiet area for at least 3 days before going into a pen by herself which Jean we need to also build her a separate shelter. Cupcake came to us from being turned loose in a neighborhood and then was neglected but also abused and still not super fond of people so this will be a challenging month. We would appreciate any help towards her bill. Any amount always help no matter how much or little.

Update!!
The make found a permanent home and the other female has a temporary place during the cold until we can finish a pen and move her here. Thank you ☺️💕🐽

Anyone in the North Carolina or South Carolina area that has an extra pen to take emergency rescue in danger of the freezing cold one is an intact male so would need his own separatepen. If anybody has a place available at least temporarily for these animals, please send me a message. The temps are dropping into the 20s in this area with some places with snow and the one pig is definitely in an area of snow with minimal shelter, etc.. photo is one of our current Pigs for attention.
