Everyone is helping me feel better! ❤️ Maslow and Rogers always love to cuddle with me on the couch but they were very confused that I could only pet them with one hand and kept trying to nudge my bad hand to pat them. 😂 Physical therapy starts on Friday so hopefully I can get rid of this giant splint and get down to something smaller where I can start using it again, at least a little bit. 🤕

Ruben was a really good rooster. Not aggressive and took good care of his girls. Unfortunately, with this heat he passed away of heat exhaustion on the same day I broke my elbow. 😕 Thank you Ruben, we miss your crowing in the morning already!

Fell & broke my elbow in 2 places on July 3rd so I've been resting up at home. Watching bird videos with my two girls. 🙂...

Fell & broke my elbow in 2 places on July 3rd so I've been resting up at home. Watching bird videos with my two girls. 🙂 4 weeks in a sling and no using my left arm. That should be fun doing pet sitting! ☹️ Thankful, I didn't hit my head on the concrete or break a hip or something much worse and that I have the next couple of days off -- canceled a couple of midday potty breaks so I could rest. Then, a busy July begins! Thankful it was my left and that I can still function albeit a little difficult with only one arm.
