Pamphobeteus sp. 'Solaris" was a dream species for me after discovering their existence back in 2020.
This species is pink - orange even from babies and is simply stunning as adults. Females feature what is best described as a powder orange coloration on the legs with an awesome striping while males feature solid orange and pink legs and carapace. Both the male and females glow in color!
Due to difficulty breeding this species remains as one of the most expensive and hard to find tarantulas in the world and it certainly is in my top 5 all time favorite species!

This beauty is the Pamphobeteus ultramarinus, the Rainbow Bird Eater Tarantula, a terrestrial hunter from Ecuador. Think wide terrestrial setup, deep substrate, steady humidity, and a water dish. A striking display species for experienced keepers.
