The Keokuk Animal Services facility is located at 249 Carbide Lane, Keokuk, Iowa 52632 and is open to the public Monday through Friday from 1:00 P.M. Keokuk’s Animal Control Officer, is available from 8:30 A.M. until 4:30 P.M. Monday through Friday. Our phone number is 319-526-5421. In case of emergency, the Animal Control Officer can be reached by calling 319-524-2741, that will connect you to the dispatch center. Once you are connected, press option #1.

These guys have made us so proud!!! They have been absolutely amazing through their healing journey! Just look how great they look! HERCULES and SCAR are definitely ready to find a home to call their own. They are right at 1 year old and the sweetest most gentle giants you could imagine! They are Mastiff mixes. They do not need to be adopted together. If you would like to meet these amazing boys our hours are from 1-5 on Monday-Friday.

And in the blink of an eye this gorgeous girl is on her way to great new life!!! Congratulations Kim and JOSIE!!!❤️🐾❤️

Justine has been faithfully coming in a couple times a week to spend some quality time with WYLIE in order to help him gain confidence and trust. And it is definitely paying off! It never ceases to amaze us how the animals that come to us from the most horrific conditions always seem to be the sweetest and most loving ones! In reality they should never trust another human but for some reason they do. These two brothers were covered in their own f***s and after 3 shampoos they still smelled of it! Not to mention how emaciated they are! Challenge accepted boys!!! Let the healing begin!!!❤️🥰❤️

Not to be confused with Rico as they do look a lot alike, this is SCOUT who is an adorable who knows what!?!?! He looks like a miniature German Shepherd weighing only 30 lbs. We believe him to be just under a year old. He doesn't know a lot yet but seems eager to learn. Take a look at this doll baby!!! RICO SUAVE as we call him is a 1-2 year old likely Husky mix. He is an adorable smaller size. He got the name RICO SUAVE because he is such a smooth operator and cool as a cucumber!!! He is house trained and walks well on a leash. He seems to do well with other dogs. He is a total sweetheart and such a good boy!!! If you would like to meet RICO our hours are from 1-5 on Monday-Friday.
