We are a full-service, walk-in veterinary clinic. We do everything from wellness visits to surgery! Walk-In appointments are on a first come first serve basis.

Brimfield Veterinary Services is a caring and friendly Walk-In only clinic to bring your pets for their health needs. We only take appointments for Surgery, Dental cleanings, & other complicated procedures. We pride ourselves in providing the highest quality and standard of care, and always being able to help cats and dogs in a timely manner. We are committed to promoting responsible pet ownershi

🍁 Pre-Thanksgiving Reminder! 🦃❤️

As we get ready for all the delicious Thanksgiving dishes, we want to share an important reminder about pancreatitis, a painful and sometimes serious condition we see in pets every holiday season.

🐾 What is pancreatitis?
Pancreatitis is inflammation of the pancreas, often triggered when pets eat foods that are too rich, fatty, or heavily seasoned—many of the exact foods on our holiday tables. Even small amounts of people food like turkey skin, gravy, buttery sides, or scraps can cause an upset stomach or lead to pancreatitis.

🐶🐱 Common symptoms to watch for:
• Vomiting
• Diarrhea
• Painful or tense belly
• Loss of appetite
• Lethargy or hiding
• Hunched posture
If you notice any of these signs, please contact us right away.

🍗 Safe holiday treats your pet can enjoy:
If you’d like your furry family member to celebrate with you, stick to simple, pet-friendly options (always in moderation) such as:
✔ Small amounts of plain, cooked turkey (no skin, no bones, no seasoning)
✔ Plain green beans
✔ Plain pumpkin purée (not pie filling)
✔ Plain carrots or apple slices
✔ Their regular treats or food

🚫 Avoid giving:
✖ Turkey skin, bones, or gravy
✖ Stuffing, rolls, buttered foods
✖ Ham or fatty meats
✖ Desserts, especially anything with chocolate or xylitol
✖ Anything highly seasoned

Keeping human foods out of paws’ reach is one of the best ways to prevent any tummy troubles—and keeps your pets happy and healthy through the season. 🧡

We would like to welcome our new vet assistant, Kendall, to the Brimfield Veterinary Services team, along with new patient, Sassie, to the BVS family! Help us give them a warm welcome! 🐾💜

Sassie is a new patient here at BVS, and is a 17 week old Toy Poodle.

Kendall is starting her career as a veterinary assistant with plans to go to school to become a Veterinarian in the future.
