Hey folks, we have a gentleman whose partner passed away. His partner was the handler of their Blue & Gold Macaw who is 31 years old. We helped alleviate some of the cost and did all the viral disease testing, but now he's in serious need of a vet check up with a chem panel, CBC and culture. He's not in the best shape due to his diet and we need to get his band removed. He came from the Scudders parrots in Tacoma, a place that had many of the more rare parrots back then but has since been closed.

Anyway, along with grieving his partner terribly, there was no insurance to cover medical, funeral and burial costs.

We are asking for help with donations to cover the appointment which is scheduled for Monday, December 15th.

We would cover it but are in a slow time of year. We are in the final stretch of waiting for IRS approval for our non profit acceptance so any donations may be tax deductible. Donations can be made directly to our account at Pine Tree, or to us using Venmo or Zelle.

We appreciate your consideration so we can work with this guy to find him a loving home.
