Hey folks, our total apology- there isn't going to be any grooming tomorrow unless it's just small bird nails and or wings.

Hey, all of our wonderful peeps! We are doing a booth at the expo this year so we want to let you know that on Friday, September 26th we are closing the shop at 1:00 pm.

We will also be closed on Saturday the 27th. There will be NO grooming on that Saturday either.

We will come in to feed and water the birds though.

We hope to see you at the expo!!

A remarkable conservation story is unfolding! After being extinct in the wild, the stunning Spix’s Macaw is making its way back home to Brazil. Thanks to international cooperation, dedicated breeding programs, and strong local community support, more than 50 birds have already been released into their natural Caatinga habitat.

The Museum für Naturkunde in Berlin and the ACTP are playing a key role, providing rare specimens for research and supporting reintroduction projects.

I'm selfishly sad for myself and the birds who really love her, but Sharon Daly has truly earned her retirement wings! Her last day was Thursday the 28th. She is one of the best at working with the birds, helping with customers, and is such a wonderful cleaner! We are truly lucky to have had get with us for so long! I know she'll be down for bird grooming and will eventually come down for a day here and there when she needs some relief from, uh, household guests! 🤪😆😂

We are truly blessed to have had her with us. She's a wonderful gal and friend!
