Blackbird Farm is a self-funded rescue dedicated to providing permanent life long sanctuary to animals in need, and providing goatscaping rotational grazing to fenced pastures These goat buddies can handle any amount of foliage you need cleared. We like to rotate goatscapers on multiple pastures to keep the green grass healthy. Message us today about hosting rescue goats on your land! Duration can

range from 2 months - 8 months. We bring shelters and repair fences with 6x12 gates if there are any holes. We do require access to feed & tend to goats

Goat 101.. let them believe they are being bad and mischievous to prevent them from being bad and mischievous… We are lucky that we have a overgrown vacant lot next to our goat pasture that that doesn’t mind our goats grazing! So when a tree fell on the fence a couple years ago we decided to replace it with chain link panels with a gate! The goats get to “jail break” without breaking any more fences! Work smarter .. not harder!!

Our goats are notorious for breaking fences when the grazing foliage is minimal.. that’s why we like to rotate them on multiple pastures to keep them occupied and bellies happy!

They even come home to the sound of a bell ringing with food ready! Some of the boys saw me before I was ready to video them.. they beat me to it !!

I provide their hay and grain, vet care, and shelter if none is available.

I am devastated to announce the passing of sweet Atticus. Nothing can prepare you for losing a loved companion, no matter how many times, it never gets easier. Heaven gained yet another angel too soon, Atticus wasn’t like any other goat I’ve ever known, so loving, loyal, and always the first in line to greet me, while the others continued grazing, he was always by my side. I will be forever thankful for being blessed with his love, affection and company, I am so happy he found his way to me. Fly free Atty, I love you forever ✨💛🌿🪶
