After nearly 7 years as a Dog Control Officer in Putnam County, I retired from the field, and officially opened Walks with Dogs, an affordable dog walking and pet sitting service. Dogs, cats, reptiles, birds, chickens, goats, donkeys, fish- I have cared for many and love them all! Leave your dogs home and I'll come visit with them in their space where they are comfortable, or schedule a visit in

my home while you're away. I offer a small, quiet, family environment, that we share with our 3 beloved dogs, 3 cats, and 1 tortoise. We offer a limited amount of space for guest dogs, ensuring your dog won't be lost or overwhelmed by too many dogs. With a huge backyard, and daily, lovely long walks down scenic roads, and wooded trails, your dog will fit right into our routine and love it! With my previous 5 years of experience working as a veterinary assistant on the emergency shift, I'm trained in first aid & CPR, and am very comfortable giving medications and injections. Currently offering dog walking/in your home pet sitting services for Kent, Carmel, Mahopac, Stormville and parts of Holmes. Responsible, dependable, fully insured, excellent references available upon request.

Our Story

After nearly 7 years as a Dog Control Officer in Putnam County, I recently retired from the field, and with the help of my husband Steve, officially opened Walks with Dogs, an affordable dog walking and pet sitting service. Dogs, cats, reptiles, birds, chickens, goats, donkeys, fish- I have cared for many and love them all! Leave your dogs home and I'll come visit with them in their space where they are comfortable. Or schedule a visit in my home while you're away. I offer a small, quiet, family environment, that we share with our 2 beloved dogs, 3 cats, and 1 tortoise. If your dog enjoys the company of other dogs, and can tolerate a cat (or 3) hanging about, he/she might like to stay with us here at “The Spotted Dog Inn”.

Because small is more personal, and helps keep stress levels low and make for happy dogs, I have a limited amount of space for guest dogs. Your dog won't be lost or overwhelmed by too many dogs.

We have a huge, fenced in backyard, and take lovely long walks down scenic dirt roads, your dog will fit right into our routine and love it!
