Losing a pet/friend/family member is never ever easy. Miles was 22 years old and the best little guy ever. I would see him a few times per year as his dad would go on several trips. I’ve gotten to know Miles over the last 4 or 5 years and he would just love to sit in the sunroom and look out the window, ask me to open it so he could quietly sniff the air, and take micro mini naps in between. Over the years, I would enjoy my morning coffee with Miles and our dropins consisted of slow and lazy appreciation for the breeze and slow walks to his freshly placed wet food that he would just take a couple bites of! I couldn’t help to smile because after his three or four licks of food, he was wiped and ready for a nap again. When he would wake up after about 5 minutes, back to the sunroom we went. He still had his pride and somehow found the strength to remind me picking him up was not ok. Just pets. Pets and scritches were fine, but no picking up. At 22, moving slower than ever, he was still the boss. He had a great life and will be truly missed. Rest easy Miles and may you have an endless supply of catnip!

Henry is seriously the most friendly, sweet and loveable kitty in my pack. He is non stop head boops, hand grabs, side brushes, body wrapping boy ever!!!! And he has the most gorgeous apricot fur!!!🧡
