Say hello to Millie Jeanette or 'Jean' for short, the adorable 11-week-old Boxer! 💕

Miss Millie stopped by this week for her first round of puppy vaccines, and she brought plenty of puppy charm with her. 🩺🐶

A few of Millie's favorite things:
🐾 Playing with her big sister
👟 Swiping shoes... then using them as the comfiest pillow for a nap 😂
🦴 Snacks, snacks, and more snacks
🗑️ Exploring any trash can she can find and proudly decorating the house with its contents

And the one thing she doesn't love?
💦 Impact sprinklers—they're just a little too spooky for her liking!

When disaster strikes, communities come together.

Horse Heaven Hills Pet Urgent Care is proud to partner with the 7 Figure Foundation to collect supplies for families and pets impacted by the Spokane wildfires.

🐾 Pet Supplies Needed
Pet food, leashes and collars, crates and carriers, blankets and towels, pet beds, litter and litter boxes, toys, and other useful pet essentials.

🏠 Family Essentials Needed
Bottled water, non-perishable food, hygiene products and toiletries, baby supplies, cleaning supplies, paper products, flashlights, batteries, and other everyday necessities.

At the end of the drive, all donated items will be delivered to trusted disaster relief organizations serving the Spokane community, where they can be distributed to people and pets who need them most.

Whether you donate one item or an entire box, your generosity can make a meaningful difference.

Need a midweek pick-me-up? Meet Kiara! 💙🐾

This sweet 9-year-old Labrador Retriever has been visiting us every few weeks while recovering from surgery to remove a mass from one of her limbs. Through it all, Kiara has never let it dampen her spirit. Her surgery, performed by Dr. Roberson, was a long and meticulous procedure, with every step taken carefully to give her the best possible outcome.

Just look at that smile! 😍 She's always wagging her tail, always happy to see everyone, and reminds us that a positive attitude can go a long way. We also want to recognize Kiara's incredible family, who have been so devoted to her recovery by staying on top of every recheck and recommendation. It's clear how deeply loved she is.

We're so proud of you, Kiara, and we can't wait to keep watching you heal. Thank you for brightening our days every time you visit! 💕

🐾 Pet of the Week: Bogey & Snickers 🐾

Meet Bogey & Snickers, 16-week-old mini dachshund brothers who are living the dream! 🤎 These sweet pups get to grow up close to each other, spending almost every day wrestling, chasing each other around, and making memories together.

Bogey loves to play with his brother, but he's always happy to settle in for a nap and some cuddles. He enjoys his toys, barking at the cat, racing around the yard, and keeping up with his two human toddlers.

Snickers is all about fetch, belly rubs, snuggles, and wrestling with Bogey. He spends his days running around with the grandkids, showing off his ferocious little bark, and keeping the family cat entertained.

This week, these adorable brothers came in to see us for their final puppy vaccines! 💉 We're so happy to watch them grow and can't wait to see all the adventures ahead for these two. ❤️🐶

Every mutt is truly one of a kind, bringing together the best traits, biggest personalities, and endless love in one incredible companion. Whether they're playful, goofy, adventurous, cuddly, or all of the above, there's no denying that mutts have a special way of making every day a little brighter.

Meet Yzma! 💜 This adorable 3-year-old Sphynx cat came in for her wellness exam, and we loved getting to see her!

Yzma completed her adult wellness bloodwork, went home with her Revolution Plus for feline parasite prevention, and is currently up to date on her vaccines (FVRCP, Rabies, and FeLV).🩺✨

When she’s not keeping her family entertained, Yzma enjoys:
☀️ Long naps and sunbathing
🪶 Birdwatching from the window
🧺 Hiding in laundry baskets
🪄 Playing with her favorite wand toys

She’s also quite the little problem-solver… Yzma has mastered opening auto feeders for bonus snacks, turning lights on and off, and opening doors like she owns the place! (Her family has since upgraded her feeder—at least for now 😉)

She may not love car rides or wearing clothes, and she’s still convinced the class beta fish would make a great playmate, but one thing is certain—Yzma is very loved. 💜
