I completely failed at taking lot of pictures this week… it was HOT! ☀️🐴

What a great way to wrap up our last week of Summer Horse Camp! The kids had an amazing time riding horses, learning about farrier work (a huge thank you to Wesley Poole for sharing your knowledge!), grooming the horses, cleaning up after them, making tie-dye shirts, sipping on fresh watermelon slushies, playing frisbee, and most importantly, making memories that will last a lifetime.

Thank you to all of the parents for trusting me with your kiddos this summer. Watching their confidence grow and their love for horses develop has been such a blessing.

Be on the lookout for our next camp announcement. I promise I’ll be posting Tiny Tots Horse Camp date and our Fall Horse Camp date very soon! We can’t wait to do it all again. ❤️🍂🐎

🐴 Week One of Horse Camp is in the books! ☀️

What an amazing and fun group of kids! We had an absolute blast learning, laughing, and making memories together.

This week we:
🎨 Painted our horses while learning the different parts of the horse
🪮 Learned proper grooming techniques
🐎 Rode horses and built confidence in the saddle
🎯 Played fun games
✂️ Made crafts
💛 And, most importantly, created friendships and unforgettable memories!

Watching each camper grow in confidence and develop a love for horses is what makes Horse Camp so special. Thank you to all of our wonderful campers and parents for trusting us with your kiddos. We can’t wait to see what next week has in store!

🐴🌻 The countdown is over… the 2nd Summer Horse Camp starts Wednesday! 🌻🐴

We are so excited to welcome all of our cowgirls and cowboys for another fun-filled session at Rachael’s Horse Camp! 💙

Please remember:
✅ Deposits should be paid before camp begins.
💲 The remaining balance is due on the first day of camp, July 8th, at 5:00 PM.
👟 Closed-toe shoes are required for everyone’s safety.
💧 Dress for the weather and bring a water bottle!

We’ve planned an exciting week full of:
🐴 Horseback riding
🪮 Grooming and horse care
🎨 Fun crafts and activities
📚 Learning horsemanship skills
🤠 Games, laughs, and unforgettable memories!

We can’t wait to spend the week with each of you making new friends, building confidence, and creating lots of horse camp memories.

Summer has definitely shown up and shown out this week with heat advisories and heat index values over 100°! We are doing our best to stay on top of communication and keep everyone updated as weather conditions change.

Because the safety and well being of our riders and horses is always our top priority, there may be times we adjust, postpone, or cancel lessons due to unsafe conditions. We want every visit to be enjoyable, safe, and full of great memories.

This afternoon our horses will be staying cool with fans, extra shade, fresh water, and cool treats! 🐎🍉❄️

Rachael’s Horse Camp offers one-on-one, one-hour riding lessons!

Our lessons are designed for all ages from toddlers to elders. Because it’s never too early or too late to enjoy horses and learn something new. ❤️🐎

Each lesson focuses on building lasting relationships with our horse companions while learning the skill and art of riding. We teach more than just getting in the saddle. We focus on horsemanship, confidence, safety, communication, and connection.

If you’ve ever wanted to truly learn how to ride a horse and develop real horsemanship skills, this is for you!

We painted the horses while learning the different parts of the horse, groomed, bathed, fed, and of course — rode!

We laughed, smiled, made memories, and had gallops of fun! 🐎☀️

Thank you to all of our amazing campers for making Camp 1 so special. We can’t wait to do it all again!

🐴 First week of Horse Camp is complete! ☀️💛

What an amazing first week we had at horse camp!

A huge thank you to our special guest Wesley Poole, who demonstrated farrier work for the campers. We learned about the tools a farrier uses and learned the different parts of the horse’s hoof. 🐎🛠️

Throughout camp, we focused on horse safety, spent time riding horses, and learned how to properly groom and care for them. With the hot weather, we made sure our horses stayed cool with baths and of course, the campers cooled off too with popsicles! 🍦☀️💦

Thank you to everyone who came and made this week so much fun. We loved seeing all the smiles, learning, and confidence grow each day. Can’t wait for the next week of camp! ❤️🐴
