Hamilton’s reign as the king of Perry’s Paws has come to an end!! He was adopted today by none other than Gina Kutz Bowles, the very person who trapped him! We are so happy for both of them!! 🥰🥰 Congratulations to Prince and Cora on getting an amazing new brother!! ♥️😻♥️

Gina also brought toys for the shelter cats which included their absolute favorite catnip mice! I did not have the heart to make them wait so let’s just pretend I took a picture!! 😂

I am so excited!! I’m not lying when I say this is my Super Bowl ring of feral cats!! 🥳 I have been after this cat for over two years…I have laid in muddy ditches, fallen down snow covered banks and even have had a leaf blower used in an attempt to catch her! 😂🤣 I managed to trap her last fall but failed to find her kittens so had to release her! I have watched this cat run all over Lake Bronson with her previous litters of kittens in tow! I enlisted the help of Denise Johnson and Ronnie Austad, who also have a soft spot for this cat! Ronnie called me and said “Guess what?” 🥳🥳 He had managed to trap her on his deck!! Needless to say I flew to Lake Bronson and have this mama cat safely snuggled in at the shelter. She will have her last batch of kittens any day. It is time for her to retire from motherhood and enjoy just being a cat!! 🥰🥰
I also wanna thank Danelle Miller and Kathy Hanson because they were involved in last fall’s attempts!
Sometimes it really does take a village!!

Perry’s Paws is forever grateful for the support we get from Old Bostwicks in Thief River Falls. Jill Stenberg and her volunteers are incredibly amazing people who truly want to make a difference. 🥰
We received a check for almost 500$ from their March donations. Your efforts make such a difference in the lives of these cats! 😻

This adorable little peanut moved into the shelter today. 😻She was discovered living in a garage in Middle River. She has been there since November. Thankfully she had amazing people making sure she had everything she needed! She is very friendly!! 🥰🥰 She will be spayed/vaccinated April 30 then will be ready for a forever home!!

The cats in the Ready Room had visitors this afternoon!! Maddie and Rachel came with their Grandma Becky Bakken. 🥰 As you can see the cats were very very excited to have the girls to play with! If it were up to Maddie and Rachel we would have adopted several cats today!! 😂🤣😂
The cats think you should come again very soon!! 🥰🥰

Hey guys!! Yesterday morning I had to run to badger to pick up some donations for the rescue from Elizabeth Allison. 🥰She took me to her farm where I was head butted twice from a large goat whose name was Dirty Butt!! 🤣😂 But then I got to hold a less then 1 day old baby goat!! I fell in love!! So I’m thinking Perry’s Paws cat and baby goat rescue?? It has a nice ring to it!! What do you think?? 😂🤣😂

Hey Guys, Perry's Paws needs your help!!
We recently discovered that the sewer at the shelter has collapsed. We reached out to area contractors and got quotes.
We have selected the best price. We need to raise 3000$ for the replacement.
We cannot properly care for these cats without a working sewer. We need clean blankets and beds, litter boxes and bowls.
I know it is a hard time for everyone right now with the economy so up in the air.

Calling all MALE cats!! Do you need to be neutered?? If so please tell your owners to send a message because we have a few openings for Wednesday the 16th!!
Cost is 85$ for neuter/vaccines and transport! We have a special going on for 3 or more male barn cats too!!
