"Mimi is a 3 year old Blue heeler she was a rescue from a homeless encampment in Seattle. She is so loving to her family and loves to play frisbee. she will cuddle all night on the couch. she knows commands such as sit, stay, laydown, slowly when going out the door, go potty, no baby when she has a toy in her mouth. and right here right here to bring the frisbee back to your feet. she is very nervous with new people and terrified of fireworks. She will nip new people when they make fast sudden movements that startle her. it is heart breaking to see her go.

She would do best with an active family or as a single person's dog. County living would suit her well. whoever in the family picks her up and brings her home will be her person everyone else will be extra for her."

"Maxine is an exuberant and friendly 6 month-old heeler mix. She loves to play fetch, practice her commands, and sit beside her people in a comfy camp chair. After exercising, she adores nothing more than snuggling up on her favorite human's lap. In the right home, she will be an ideal partner in all your favorite activities and inactivities!

Maxine came into my life as a foster placement at the age of 3 weeks. She was handled constantly by myself and members of my home childcare program. She is friendly with other dogs, excited by (though not aggressive with) cats, and unfazed by household noise and chaos. She responds well to training, is eager to please, and highly motivated by treats and praise. While I've done my best to meet her activity needs, it's becoming clear that she would be happier and healthier with an experienced handler who knows more about the unique needs of working breeds.

Maxine is crate trained, housebroken, uses an emery board tool to file her own front nails, and knows several commands including. She has received consistent vet care. She does not engage in resource guarding, she tolerates the chaos and noise of household effectively (even fireworks don't faze her!) and she loves to play with other dogs of all ages and sizes. She's a wonderful gal, but her herding instincts are incompatible with my childcare set-up."

"After a lot of tears and soul-searching, we've made the incredibly difficult decision to find a new home for Jackdog.

Jackdog is a 5-year-old Border Collie/Blue Heeler mix. He is intelligent, loyal, and forms strong bonds with his people. He loves being outdoors and would thrive with someone who understands working breeds and can give him the physical exercise, mental stimulation, and structure he needs.

Because of several behavioral concerns, I will only consider homes that are:

Adults only (no young children)
No cats
No other dogs
Experienced with herding or working breeds

Jackdog has shown resource guarding tendencies and can become overstimulated in exciting situations. He needs someone who can confidently manage these behaviors and continue his training. This is not a first-time dog.

This decision is not because we don't love him. Quite the opposite. We love him enough to recognize that our home is no longer the right fit for him. Now with a young child in the house, I cannot provide the environment he deserves, and I have to prioritize everyone's safety.

I will be completely honest about his history with anyone seriously interested in adopting him because finding the right home is far more important to me than finding a quick home.

"Courage is a three-legged bundle of smarts and energy. Despite losing his leg at only three months old he is still one of the fastest dogs at the park. He loves to fetch, is great off-leash, and seemingly understands the english language. He can get mouthy when excited (putting a leash on, tug toys) and this has unfortunately led to some issues with our toddler and a dog sitter recently."

"Hi everyone this is Chibi, he is a 2 year old cattle dog/border collie/aussie Shephard. He is looking for a new home since our current one cannot provide enough stimulation for him to give him a consistent working job throughout the day. He is a very loving dog once he warms up to you and will always be by your side whether you like it or not. We spent alot of time training him so his recall and off leash manners are pretty good. He loves a good car ride whether it's in his crate or sitting in your lap. Baths can make him abit nervous but if youre taking him camping or on a hike he will love it. Chibi would thrive in a house that has a lot of property to run around on and hopefully have other dogs to play with him yet still give him plenty of lazy down time. His best family would be a household of 1-2 people without kids."

"This is Asta! He comes with lots of energy, love, loyalty and protection. He is house trained and sleeps in his kennel at night or with me sometimes. He is a very big lover so he will be by your side at all times and loves cuddling. He gets along with other dogs but hasn't been around any cats so im unsure about cats. He's very confident and goes crazy for tennis balls. if u have other dogs i would let him warm up to them first before bringing toys out because he can get a little defensive since he hasn't lived with other dogs in a few years. He's very treat oriented. Some things he doesn't like is his paws being touched so clipping his nails is always very tricky and sometimes requires someone else to help. he has a sensitive tummy so i don't feed him any processed red meats or chicken. He's on Purina Pro Plan Sensitive salmon and rice mix. i'm really looking for someone to spend lots of time with him and give him the active and social life he deserves and that's a reason there is a rehoming fee."
