We wanted to jump on here today and remind folks that we are not a veterinarian office or a rescue. We do take on foster dogs and cats when we can with the support of rescues in our surrounding areas. With that being said if you would like to donate to the care of our current foster kitty or to the rescues who help us they could use almost anything off of our Amazon registry!
If you are spring cleaning and want to donate any old pet supplies, towels or blankets those can also be put to great use. You can drop your donations off at your next appointment and we will split them up to support those rescue's needs!

Here is a schedule reminder that we are taking one weekend a month off as well as have an upcoming vacation! The highlighted dates are days we will be out of the office and not accepting appointments or phone calls. We are booked out for grooming anywhere from 1-3 months and boarding about a month. Please get ahold of us as soon as possible to better your chance of getting on our schedule!

We wanted to reshare some basic information for any new followers! Posted below are our boarding and grooming hours as well as a basic description of services and our current baseline prices.

We also require a copy of listed vaccinations for both boarding and grooming showing they are current on,
Rabies, DHPP (distemper) & Bordatella (kennel cough).
As well as veterinarian prescribed flea and tick medication during the warmer months.

Today's post is a little different and one we've debated on making for awhile. We are in no way judging folks that are uneducated in this issue and want to use it as a learning experience. We are gonna share some information about a double merle coat, which is what our sweet client Patches pictured down below has. She suffers from deafness and irregular vision due to the double merle genetics, which is why breeding certain genetics together is very unethical!

We also want to encourage our clients to come to us with questions when picking out their next dog, we are more than willing to help research breeders and search for rescues that might fit your ticket instead.
We can also help steer you clear of backyard breeders that will tell you whatever you want to hear just to make some cash off of selling a puppy!!! Whatever choice you make please adopt or shop responsibly

This boy is handsome and that is a fact.
He is also a great reminder that a groomer's education is never finished! Booter has been an absolutely amazing boy to learn standard poodle trims on, and although we have gotten a lot better we also have so much room for improvement!!!
