📚✏️ Back-to-School Pet Safety Tips! 🐾

As the kids head back to school, don’t forget to keep curious pets safe from school supplies!

🐶 Keep these items out of reach:
✂️ Scissors and sharp objects
🖍️ Markers, crayons, and paints
📎 Paper clips, rubber bands, and staples
🩹 Glue, tape, and adhesives
🎒 Backpacks that may contain snacks, medications, or gum (especially sugar-free gum, which can be toxic to pets!)

A little organization goes a long way in preventing accidents. Store school supplies in drawers, bins, or backpacks that your pets can’t access.

Let’s make this school year a safe one for every member of the family—two-legged and four-legged! ❤️🐾

While we celebrate with family, friends, and fireworks, remember that the loud noises can be frightening for our pets. Now is the perfect time to make sure you have a safety plan in place.
🐾 Keep pets indoors in a secure, quiet room.
🐾 Make sure collars and ID tags are up to date.
🐾 Check that microchip information is current.
🐾 Close windows, blinds, and curtains to help reduce noise.
🐾 Turn on a TV, fan, or calming music to help mask the sounds.
🐾 Never bring pets to fireworks displays.
🐾 If your pet has severe anxiety, talk to your veterinarian about calming options.
A little preparation today can help keep your furry family members safe and comfortable tomorrow.

The temperatures are soaring this week, so don't forget about your furry friends!
💧 Keep plenty of fresh water available.
🌳 Make sure they have shade or a cool place to rest.
🐾 Avoid hot pavement and limit time outside.
🚗 Never leave your pet in a parked vehicle.
If you're hot, they're hot! Watch for signs of heatstroke and keep your pets safe during this extreme heat. ❤️🐶🐱

And as a bonus, today is also the first day of summer! ☀️🌻 Here’s to sunny adventures, longer days, and making unforgettable memories with the pets who make life so special.

☀️Is summer here already?!?☀️
It’s only spring and it’s already 90 degrees 😅 If you’re hot they are hot.
Make sure your furry friends are nice and cool during this blazing heatwave ☀️
Make sure:
-they have plenty of water
-put out a kitty pool for them to splash
-take walks earlier in the morning or later at night to insure that the sidewalks are cool for their paws.
(If you can’t change that time of your walk you can use pet shoes to help with the burning cement🔥)
-puppy popsicles are also a great cooling treat. All you need is some peanut butter and bananas. Spread it on a plate and freeze it! 🩵
